I am a couple hours west of there.  I imagine coming from southern Ohio it would be a trip.  I have made the Detroit to Middletown Ohio drive a few times and from Cleveland to Middletown.  Long stretch of boring road.

If the plant does well, I will send you some pods from it.  From what I read they eat better green than when ripe.
 
Ate one mustard last year and saved the seeds.  It had a mouth numbing affect to me.  Looking forward to that again.
 
Picked some peppers this evening.  First Fatalii red harvest of the year and it isn't looking too great.    Also picked off a greenish Cristal for a taste test and a BBD Yellow that has my name written all over it for tomorrow's supper.

Cristal review.  Watered down citrus flavor.  I am thinking a more yellow pod would have more flavor.  Going to test how fine a line I can walk with the ripeness versus flavor on this pepper.  Barely warm.  Flavor would go good in a salsa, but you would need something else for heat.

Went out to the garden to try to take some good pics after the sun set a little bit.  Mosquitoes really came alive at that time.  Worst summer for them in I don't know how long.
 
Garden and pods are looking good Jeff. BBD is a nice looking pepper. You've had quite the harvest this year. Congrats. Have you been fishing at all?

I just made a quick trip to the river Tuesday to fish from shore.  Caught about 13 fish.  2 bass and the rest junk fish, but it was a lot of fun fighting them.
