Hot Hab Mustard

Today, I wanted to make some hot sauce. To say the least, it didn't turn out right. I was trying to experiment a little and come up with my own sauce.

I used:
1 tbsp parsley
1 tbsp oregano
1 tbsp thyme
1 bay leaf
1 pound of baby carrots
2 oz olive oil
1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
4oz mustard seeds
4 large orange habs
6 large ripe Hungarian Wax
2 large green Serranos

I got about 2 quarts.

I cooked it up and tasted it, decided it needed something else. I added a little sea salt. It still wasn't right, so I decided to add a few mustard seeds. HA! The top came off of the container and I got 4oz...

Since I am so smart and decided to add it while I had it blending, I couldn't just scoop it out.

I let it slow cook in a crock-pot for about 4 hours. About an hour before it was done, I added 6 ripe Hungarian Wax and 2 green Serranos. The Wax added a nice sweet flavor right before the habs sneak up on you.
