Holy cow I had no clue what I was in for and was very skeptical of these till I tried them and now I can't stop eating them!
I'm sharing a few bites with a some friends and definitely placing an order for much more!
Great flavor nice and sweet then the heat creeps up at the end, very delicious!!! Perfect amount of heat not too hot and just enough to make you realize there's something special in there.
Its more like a butter cream bar or similar to one of those flavored tootsie rolls but softer and much better texture.

For the record, any praise posted in this or other threads is unsolicited. I have asked for private feedback from those who've tried Lava Bar, but posted comments are entirely at the poster's own initiative.
This thread is something of a mess, but read from the beginning, you can get a historical perspective on the development of this product. The very first batch was made Jan. 1, 2018. Process optimization is ongoing, but from a product quality perspective, the recipe is finalized. It can be made in any flavors for which liquid flavoring is available.
Shipping and pricing have also been learning experiences. For two bars, I ship in a #000 poly bubble envelope via First Class package service. Larger orders up to two pounds go via SFRB.
So, after all that, for $10 get a two bar sample, shipping included. Order a pound for $20, again with shipping included.
I'm working on a website and hosting, but in the meantime, Lava Bar is also available on eBay, Etsy, and Bonanza, but get a better deal here. (If these links violate the rules, let me know and I'll remove them.)

Lava Bar hot pepper candy is back in stock, maple flavor only. This batch is soft and smooth; it won't turn hard and crumbly like some of the earlier batches. There are two versions, one with medium heat, as before, and one with no detectable heat at all (for the non-chiliheads in your life.)
