How 'Bout Dem Cowboys....

after this season it will say Suberbowl XLIII champions "THE DALLAS COWBOYS"....

I love this thread...lets us have some fun with one another...

As far as 95 goes...even tho Jimmy Johnson had left the year before, the players were the ones that he had recruited/signed...and I will tell you this...if Jerry Jones didn't have such a big ego, there is not telling how many other superbowls the cowboys would have won in the 90s....

keep dreaming, pal, keep dreamin'

dreaming is where it all begins....right?

AJ - Did you catch the Hard Knocks show on HBO?? It was about your Cowboys. It follows them through training camp.

no, didn't get to watch that...but I watched Mike Doocy...Fox4 Sports Anchor every evening and he gave about a 3-5 minute report every day of camp...like I said, it looks like the boyz have got it together this year...biggest thing is there is not internal turmoil like there has been in the past...this is truly a brother love brother team and the older guys have taken the younger guys under their wings...we are pretty healthy right now...and the guys we have acquired over the past 3 years like TO, Tank Johnson, and Adam Jones know this is their last chance to play football and they are all business....

I was able to watch it and I was really impressed with Jason Garrett. He's gonna be a solid Head Coach.

Felix Jones was impressive and I knew Tank would be dominant once he stopped doing immature things.

I think if anything fails for them this year it'll be the defense. I think the Offense is one of the nfl's best this year.

You know, you guys may be right about Romo being a choker...but I don't believe it...if he chokes this year...I may call JJ and tell him he needs a good quarter back from the SEC....like Tim Tebow of Florida...that boy can do it all....and he's huge for a QB

Damn what a game....that's all I got to say...

Yea, that was one hell of a game for sure!

How about that guy on the Eagles that dropped the ball right before going into the end zone?

It seemed like the defense wasn't doing much on either side until the end. They each had their moments here and there.. Seemed like either the Eagles offensive line got tired or else the Cowboys D started stepping it up at the end.

Where was any sign of defense.... On either side??

Or....are both offenses so powerful there isn't a defense that can hold them?

Yes I believe there is and you will both have a chance to test yourselves against it. I guarantee the Steelers won't give up 37 or 41 pts against the Eagles or Cowboys.

As for the Eagles, they seem to disappear after a big game. Thank God they lost otherwise this whole thread would be flooded with them.

A Steelers fan liked to amuse himself by scaring every Browns fan he saw strutting down the street in an obnoxious Orange & Brown shirt. He would swerve his van as if to hit them, then swerve back just missing them.

One day while driving along, he saw a priest. He thought he would do a good deed, so he pulled over and asked the priest, 'Where are you going, Father?'

'I'm going to give Mass at St. Francis church, about two miles down the road,' replied the priest. 'Climb in, Father. I'll give you a lift!' The priest climbed into the passenger seat, and they continued down the road.

Suddenly, the driver saw a Browns fan walking down the road, and he instinctively swerved as if to hit him. But, as usual, he swerved back onto the road just in time.

Even though he was certain that he had missed the guy, he still heard a loud THUD. Not knowing where the noise came from, he glanced in his mirrors but still didn't see anything.

He then remembered the priest, and he turned to the priest and said, sorry Father, I almost hit that Browns fan.'

'That's OK,' replied the priest 'I got him with the door.'

Four football fans - a Cowboys fan, an Eagles fan, a Steelers fan, and a Patriots fan - are climbing a mountain and arguing about who loves his team more.

The Patriots fan insists he is the most loyal. 'This is for the Patriots!' he yells, and jumps off the side of the mountain.

Not to be outdone, the Eagles fan shouts, 'This is for the Eagles!' and throws himself off the mountain.

The Steelers fan is next to profess his love for his team.

He yells, 'This is for everyone!' and pushes the Cowboys fan off the mountain.

now even I like that one...

I am afraid my alma mater (Auburn) is going to get their butts kicked today...
