That makes me feel good there is some interest.
How about this for transport:
Cutting is in plastic bag sealed but inflated with some air.
This would keep any bugs in the bag not in the mail.
The hydrogen peroxide would help prevent an anaerobic environment.
Since it is in the dark little or no co2 would be required.
The cube has been dipped in Botanicare Pro Grow which is many tested guanos liquified plus minerals so the decaying organic matter in it may provide some co2.
The air acts as an insulator.
Some post offices leave the mail in the back for a while.
If the box was on the outside of a pile in 20 degree for a few hours would be my only worry.
Priority mail is fast. 1-3 days anywhere in the US.
Since it keeps moving my hopes are the cutting will arrive looking much like it was shipped.
Perhaps there will be a little bit of lighter green growth showing it grew in the mail.
Another idea for cuttings is to ship gel dipped cuttings which are not rooted.
This lets you run up to your plant and put a piece in the mail!
It would also be a good way for us to compare different Jolokias for heat.
