The pepper in the first photo on the first post when broken open is dark inside.
It has an almost smokey flavor and a tiny bit of a red taste but with the peach hab or regular hab essence also.
The seeds are from a mix pack at ushotstuff.com

The last photo above is on the same plant as the second photo.
So it is a messed up chocula I'm hoping

The smoky taste you say,sounds very much like a Chocolate hab

Definitely looks like some sort of brown chinense. Actually ushotstuff seems to only offer "chocolate habanero"(Congo black) so that would be my guess.

I got some "brown habaneros" from WWW.TomatoGrowers.com are they considered to be a "chocolate hab"?

the 3rd photo looks like my Chocolate Habs....

the last looks kinda like a Naga but on the same plant?? Maybe a cross? Might want to wait until it ripens and see (if it is chocolate color)...if it is, then save the seeds on that one and try again for next year to isolate and maybe have something new...

After a taste it must be Choc Hab!
Is the Trinidad Congo different than a plain Choc Hab?
The heat seems to wear off faster than peach hab.
I instantly have a passion for it with how strong it grows the plants look great and lil chocos are popping out with a phosphorus addition.

Photo update

This is a project testing some top of the line nutrients while replacing some of their expensive 'addition' bottles with other brands.
Nutrient is House and Garden Aqua Flakes at 5ml per gallon.
House and Garden Multizyme and Algen is substituted with Botanicare Liquid Karma and some powder Endo and Ecto Microryzzae which helps roots.

It may be Fatali or hopefully Devlis Tounge as I have Fatali.

Since it is not prolific Devils Tounge is out.
A taste will quickly tell if it is Fatali if she does not show red in a few days its getting chomped!
