Jamison's "Operation Pods" 2013 is a Mission Complete

Well THP, its that time of the year again. I've been anxiously awaiting to give life to these seeds that we all cherish so much. This year I'm gonna focus most of my grow towards Scotch Bonnets, with 14 different strains. Also have a few Supers and 7's with a few others as well. I still have 3 plants that have been overwintering and still doing good after another cutback and a bonide treatment for aphids. Heres the list :party:

I soaked seeds on 12/31/12 and sewed into Burpee coconut fiber pellets on 1/1/13.

Happy Friday THP! Time for a little update. Things are moving along. Seedlings are starting to pop out a true set of leaves. Added a couple more to the grow list :dance: and that will be all....I hope. Thanks DocNRoc for the seeds. Had to order Carolina Reaper seeds from PepperJoe.

How's the coco coir pellets compared to jiffy pellets. ?! Glad to see you got more seeds you whore. Hahaha. Excited to see the OW SB. Soon you'll be podding up again. Madballz. Hmmm. Good luck with Em. Reapers. ?!? Haha conformist !!

I think the coco pellets are better just for the reason that they don't hold water as well as peat. The peat pellets seem to stay soaked for a long period of time. I'd hate for my seedlings to have wet feet all day. The Reapers, (facepalm), not even sure I want to talk about it. I'm not cheap by any means, but paying $15 for 13 pepper seeds from Pepper Joe, plus the freebies just seemed outrageous to me. I kept saying I wasn't gonna do it, but I got a little buzzed up one night and said screw it and ordered em.

Awesome I'll take that as a compliment! Its got a macro setting, then I just crop.
 
Things are moving along. Starting to get some true leaves coming in on the little guys. Temps up where I have my plants in the attic are getting low. Sometimes 55 degrees. Been running a heater up there and its now staying somewhere around 65 degrees. Poor little guys are a bit chilly probably, but hey, their in Wisconsin, toughen up!

My little guy ice fishing with me yesterday. Only caught a couple little bluegills. And no flags on the tip ups.

Your overwinters should be getting some flowers soon. The Maui Purple is a cool plant....even though it doesn't have serrated leaves and island flowers....ha
Its still a stunning looker that performs well even in a hanging basket. It tends to cascade over. Man those Primo's came up fast ! Ice fishing ...Lake Geneva ?

Thanks Jamie! Thats the plan my friend, lots of pods especially Scotch Bonnets! Yep it was fun getting the kid out there! Even tho he froze his little arse off.

Wish it did have serrated leaves and beautiful stinky flowers Greg! Thanks for the tips on the Maui. The Primo's came up insanely fast. No Geneva still doesn't have ice on it believe it or not. Everyone getting a little pissed off about that. Maybe after this week there will be some good ice out there in Geneva. We were actually just east of there on Rock Lake in Wilmot. It was coooooold Greg! Little guy had the shanty and heater while my buddy and I stood outside all day, but it wasn't too bad.

The seedlings are coming along great, Jamison. Little guy looks like he's having a blast ice fishing. I've done a lot of different types of fishing, but never ice fishing. Looks cold. I'll leave it to you and your Son. ;)
