So, I love and hate things like this...both plants are from the same seed batch. One is chocolate as it should be and the other is a wine color. I dig the color but it cut back my chocolate production. :)

Just tried to remove some weight by picking pods in preparation for what is headed this way. Tornadoes all over the place, looks night time outside at 4:50.

WIND GUSTS IN EXCESS OF 50 MPH ARE POSSIBLE WITH THESE STORMS. FREQUENT CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING CAN ALSO BE EXPECTED.

Yeah, I saw a horizontal cell rotating above my location about a half hour before sunset... fortunately it moved on!
Hope things came out OK for you!

Thanks SM, fared well only lost a few pods. Sunday and first weekend of NFL equals time to smoke some peppers!

Charleston Hots
Black Jalapeno
Early Jalapeno
2 trays of unknowns

Good to hear you didn't had any damage, your smoker is running overtime isn't it :D
Yes sir it is and thanks on damage front. I have about 30 pounds on the table ready for smoker, or somewhere else unless I break down and get another dehydrator. Need to take some pictures of the yellow bhuts with crazy bumps all over them I pulled yesterday. I'll do that tonight.

Very nice Chris, I hope you saved some of the seeds from those wine colored pods. If you could get several plants growing I bet that would make a great powder and the color would be beautiful. I love those dark reds.

Smoker looks like it's doing the trick. Is that the electric one? What can you get your electric down to, I was able to get down to +/- 110 degrees F. Jalapeon's and Roma's I did over applewood came out great. Now I'm thinking about getting some whiskey barrel wood to try.

Have a great week,
Bill

RM, I am going to try and grow both the chocolate and wine colored next year. I just finally tasted on and it reminds be very much of a bhut. Here is a picture of the pod and inside before I tried it.

WOw! Great update man. Smoking the hell out them pods over there. Gonna have to do some myself this week sometime! Keep it comin bud!
