Yuk, I've just googled it, I would never eat it. I will eat Pork Scratchings though, I love them (no bone).
 
They make lard out of that don't they? I'm not sure your Pork Scratchings in the US are the same as ours, I have a feeling yours are all light and puffy.

Yeah, they do and i believe they are(if you're refering to pork skins). Most G.O.B.'s eat fatback straight up on a biscuit, though. :hell:
 
If you are talking about the fried skins, we call them cracklings and no they aren't light and fluffy. They are crispy like potato chips.

I've seen that & no thanks I'll pass, that aint nothing but FAT with a very very small sliver of meat on it & then fried.
 
chuck - we celebrate spam here too, since its the home of spam. the homecity is not far away, to get into the big spam of things :(
I wonder if pepperfever ever goes to their spamfest since she lives closer, maybe ?
