It has seemed that for the last few TD's the general theme has been known a couple weeks ahead. Forum discussions seem to be working good for that.

My problem is reading though all the pages of discussion every month in the "idea" threads to find out whats officially going on. Its all good, but there's certainly a lot of chatter to filter through

Indian/Pakistani foods have my vote, great flavors with plenty of spice! However you can't beat anything that's BBQ'd.

Fried rice, stir-fry, and some lumpia!

As much as I love sushi, I wouldn't make it for a TD unless it was specifically a sushi TD - too many peeps get weird about sushi...

yeah I find it hard to understand how everyone is not adventuress when it comes to food. Except when I was school then I hated everything LOL. The only thing I wont voluntarily eat is raw tomato but hell if its done in way that is new to me I will give it a go.

I am commencing a new diet and the fact that I have to limit my taste sensation variety is a mental obstacle of mammoth proportions.

Oooh ok I may be a hypocrite come to think about it as I never order risotto, it tastes good but is boring.

If I'm gonna go through all the trouble of making an Asian dinner (or any other meal for that matter), you can guarantee it'll be firmly based on one major criteria;

What I like. .....and what Retta likes. (and she adores sushi) After all....we'll be the ones eating it.

Besides....do you really think it'll matter when the voting starts? In the end, at least I will have had a great meal.

wish I could remember the food documentary I saw that had this big pot of Fish soup that was FULL of chilli's. A group sat around eating from the giant pot, the dish got hotter & hotter the more they ate (as it slowly reduced at the same time).
