Here's a YouTube link for a video of McCain and Palin stopping by the El Pinto restaurant to grab some salsa. McCain got 2 jars of Medium and 2 jars of Hot. Pay close attention to the cash register display. You people who've been here to the Fiery Foods Show are probably more than fammiliar with the restaurant.

 
nice observation there DD, hope the Obama team does'nt pick that up. I'm sure CNN would have a field day with that one.
 
They probably gave him his money back when the cameras stopped rolling. $8.44 for 4 large jars of salsa? Damn that's cheap!

Well, they were buying it directly from the manufacturer. $2 a jar + tax is about right.

I hadn't thought of that. Plus you can bet that they have those NM green chilies in them. Something imported like that here would cost at least double. :(
