Most of this list I got through the genorosity of people on this forum, thanks alot! Since I only have one heated propagator I needed to split up my list, so I went for all the Habanero varities first (as you can see on the picture below). Also a few other Chinense on there.

I sow 2 seeds per varity, so I can keep the best looking plant and give the other one away. Offcourse I'm not throwing them away, I will spread the heat among my friends so they can learn the magical world of pepper growing too ;)

I used coco-plugs as medium this time and putted them in a 60 holes tray. Looks like a tray of cup-cakes ready for the oven.
IMAG0985.jpg

After I soaked them and let the propagator get to the right tempature (± 26°C) I sow all the seeds with this as end result.
IMAG0991.jpg

All I have to do now is getting the grow area ready so when they sprouted they can be put under the CFL lights. I don't expect them to sprout for atleast a week so I still have some time. As soon there is free space I will sow the rest of my list with the Annuum to be the last ones, probally around january.

So far still no frost here, temperature went a bit lower during the day but stayed around 49F and at night not lower then 40F :) Today I did another mini harvest, there's a lot more hanging on the plants but time was short and they needed a few more days. Gonna give them till end of the month and then it's clean up time.

7 Pot Brain Strain Red, 7 Pot White, Bahamian Goat Pepper, Bolivian Bumpy, Fatalii White, Fidalga Roxa and Not Guadeloupe Black.

IMAG07462.jpg

As you see the 7 Pot White is not white anymore but more yellow, the Fatalii White on the other hand does produce pure white pods. Maybe more stable then the 7 Pot? The Not Guadeloupe Black looks more like Caramel/Cappuccino, it does have the characteristics of the Guadeloupe Black. Could be interesting to grow this one out next season? Although my space is limited.

I liked the Guadaloupe Black very fragrant, when you cut it open it has red-ish flesh thats medium hot. The 7 pot white are the flower shaped ones on the left? Nice shape are they as hot as the normal yellow 7's?

Very nice looking pods, I've got some chero roxa I'm growing now I hope they have that same color. Are they the same or differant in some way? My Bolivian bumpy is flowering too, it's a cool looking plant with just a little purple on many of the leaves.

Hi Lando :) Yes they are the flower shaped ones on the left, I wouldn't know if the are as hot as normal yellow 7's. For me they taste good and are hotter then an Habanero.

They are a bit different from the podshape, the rest looks the same :) Yeah, the Bolivian Bumpy is a beautiful plant as well the stems are not as dark as the Fidalga Roxa.

Harvested and cleaned out the garden today. Half of the pods were half ripe or just about to change color so I hope they ripen off in the next week. No idea how much it weight in total but the Jalapeno's together were good for 5lbs.

Thank you all for watching my glog and the kind words! Hope to see you in my 2013 glog again

Hi Meatfreak, this Fidalga Roxa pod is just so....amazing!! Never seen a purple like this. Thought it was a photo trick until I google images. What is that orange pepper pod on the right hand side of Fidalga Roxa pods?

If so, the one on the right is the Not Guadeloupe Black. I had two Guadeloupe Black plants and one of them threw pods that looked like that. It's maybe hard to see on the picture but it's definitely not Orange but more Caramel/Cappuccino colored.

Question for ya Meatfreak, how did those hurrikans turn out? asking away since i got some seeds from you awhile back and looking forward to growing them this upcoming season...

I refer to the 'orangee pod' right of Fidalga Roxa here. Think I read thru your forum and apparently listed as 'unknown' right??
Admire how all your plants seems to be so lush without fuss. My first year planting chillies and discovered today many of my plants (in pots) have leaf curl!!! Sprayed it with a general fungicide spray and today all leaves look discolored. really anxious now!

no! how silly of me. will try to post from the 'quote section'. I had refer to one post no #279 (1st photo) like an orangee blob

It was one of the first varieties to give pods, it kept on giving the entire season. Think I harvested over 200 pods, of course they aren't big but really tasty and nice heat. When they turned to a salmon color they are ripe, when overripe they tend to get more orange colored.

I just gave it a name to work with, I've send some seeds to numerous people now. Hopefully I get to see some plants their glogs. Don't you dare to think I didn't had any fuss  I had more then enough in the beginning of my season and then later when all my outside plants got sick and destroyed the entire outside harvest. You will always have issues when growing stuff, that's just a part of it :)

Great season Stefan  . I too love the FR's. A beautiful purple pepper. From what I have seen the white 7's do ripen a pale yellow. I had a friend send me one. It was a very tatsty pepper. Hope your are too. Now let's see what you cook up with that tasty harvest. :onfire:

Stefan, you had a great 2012!! Like Jamie, I love the Fidalga Roxa purple peppers. Can't wait to hear what you are going to grow in 2013... which are you most excited to grow?

Conor

The first White 7's that ripen over here were actually white, not pale but as the days got shorter they got more pale yellow. When you take a picture of it, it turns out yellow while it in actuality isn't. Nonetheless it's a very tasty pepper indeed, I liked it so much I'm thinking of having it again next season although I have so many other interesting varieties to grow  Those White pods make a great looking powder and sauce.

Thanks for the kind words, Conor. It's hard to say which one I'm the most excited about, I'm excited about all the ones that are on the list so far. I'm getting close at 80 varieties again, so I need to scrap some :( The CGN's, Jalapeño's and Scotch Bonnet's are my main theme next season. I'm not revealing them yet but it's a lot

a bit of comfort for myself. The final production all good

And really the last, last, last harvest of the season from my MadballZ 7 plant I took inside to let the pods ripen off.

Happy they did because I didn't had any seeds left of this awesome and tasty variety. I cut it back and plan on letting it overwinter.

Also made a couple of sauces and some Sambal Badjak.

This will get me through the winter although the temperature is quite high at the moment (not that I'm complaining )

PLease send me one bottle and jar of each. Gary will pay the shipping ;) Just a perfect grow from start to finish Stefan.

Merry Christmas my brotha

Send it via Chicago........The customs agency is so busy that..............well let's just say your products look so good that if they were confiscated they would definitely be consumed........................

Happy holidays Stefan.

Stefan, I love the look of your Big Jamaican pods, how do they taste? From your pictures their stems at pod top looks thicker than my Jamaican Habs but hard to tell exactly from pictures. I’m late to the game again, but my excuse is I’m new since Nov. too many glog’s and not enough time, heh. Great crop you have and you do a great job on pictures with that HTC Desire HD A9191, I’m assuming you upgraded to the HTC One X at one point along the way or have 2 phones now?

Early in your glog I had never heard of the product you spoke about (can’t remember which page) “chilli focus.” But thanks for giving me the idea to use seaweed for some experimentation. Call me an idiot as I live less than 2 miles from the beach and have never tried seaweed for fert yet. I have now read a few articles about it and will start testing it out next week, thanks!

Keep up the great work and I certainly enjoy seeing & reading bout all your plants :)
