I am planting via 2 methods, coffee filter and direct sow. I want to eventually plant out 1 of each variety so I sowed 3 seeds. I soaked my seeds last night in water and planted 1 in a tray of Hoffman’s Seed Starter (thanks Ronnie),
fe6e7491.jpg

and the other two I stuck in coffee filters and plastic bags. So EVERYONE is aware, this method is not a quick one. Consider yourself warned.

When I finished planting/bagging everything, I stuck it in my tent which maintains about 81-84 and we shall keep our fingers crossed.

Now it is time to PWN some 12 year olds in MW3. Peace!

All day at the zoo had my daughter dragging...had to take one for the team. Think it went well with the salmon shirt anyway!

At least it makes for a great profile pic!

great review, and great looking plants! look forward to keeping up with your glog for the rest of the season!

Thanks! I am finding out quick that the in ground plants are much more willing to handle the rain! Hopefully it won't be too long before I am gettin some vids up of my pods!

Man that looked painful Matt! Your da man!

Thanks, it was definitely a kick in the sack. I knew it was hot, but you really can't prep for it all!

"Holy Shit Balls!" haha love the 7PB video!
And Shane "real men wear pink right?" lol

But that back pack is just wow  My 3 year old daughter calls that "pocka ots"

LOL! Thanks! As soon as it hit me, I didn't know quite how to relay it....I felt that "ShitBalls" would give all the viewers a better understanding. :)

Now it is time for a quick update! I was out in the yard for an hour or 2 today, I think I am still feeling Thursday night's antics, so I didn't spend too much time outside. I wanted to focus on the stuff that is ripening, instead of the same stuff from the last few weeks. Enjoy!

Brain Strain Yellow almost ready!

I have a few critter pics left, and will throw em up in a bit. Thanks for stoppin in!

Wow that is some hard core porn there Matt. Those brains look just like the ones Chris posted on his grow last year. Can't wait to watch you review some of your own supers!

Glad you are home for a bit

Wow that Fatalii X Red Savina is one cool looking pod. Maybe one of these days we can meet up and trade some pods.
I cant wait to see what that looks like ripe. I have some cool crosses that Eric gave me. like Purple Hap by means of Choc.Hab X Red Hab, can be seen in Eric's glog, I also got a Choc.Bhut X Yellow 7 that should be a cool little plant.

Givin a bump if it ain't too late!

It is never to late for a little BUMP! It may be a little late for the response though..... shame on me! :snooty:

Great pics Matt. How many fatalii x RS did you plant this year. How are your container plants doing through the weather.

I had 3 plants, one in the ground, one in a container and one sent to Hooda. Stay tuned for a comparison of the in ground and potted plants, but long story short is the in ground is faring WAAAAY better through our crappy weather.

Thanks for stoppin in Homie! It is good to hear that they are growing the way that they were in the past. It is interesting the whole Brain/7 Pot SR/etc... I need some schooling on the whole SR (Sarah?) thing, but as you will see in the photos from today, my 7 Pot Originals are very "brainish..." Anyways, I think I am gonna be around until the beginning of August, then take a trip to see family down south, and then Ill be out of here for good come sometime September. I already know that I am gonna be leaving a TON of green pods, and I have already started a psychological operations campaign to get the wife to harvest for me till winter...gonna be interesting....

Nice pod shots! You're going to have lots of ripe ones soon.

Thanks Andy, I am hoping so. It is crazy, every time I go outside I see another pod that is changing color. I just wish we could get a week or so of no rain. That would definitely supercharge these buggers!

Sounds like a great idea my man! I am always on the lookout for a crazy strain! If I can pull a few pods off these plants before I deploy, I will make sure i get some over to you.

Time for a quick mini-update, and I should have a video posted by the end of the evening!

I was out in the garden today taking a video, and saw some more pods ripening. I figured i would share!

These two are some 7 Pot Originals. Like I mentioned to Jamie, they have the crazy brain-ish bumps to em. I am willing to bet that I will get one or two pods off this plant that look just like any Brain out there....

Thanks everyone for checking things out, and like I mentioned earlier, ill have a video up soon.

Beautiful images of your variety very nice.

Thank you my friend!

MGOLD....brother, you've got enough poddage going on their to contain a riot! Loved the seven pot brown review....even through the pain, still thinking about the ass...Hahahaha right on. Hope the rest of the night went without a hitch. That thing looked like it blew you to smithereens!

I am on the same boat as you with the stomach pain. Give me three times the mouth/throat pain but the stomach....oh my god it's ridiculous. I ate half of a giant Black Naga and I nearly passed out from the stomach pain. It was two hours later and it decided to sink its teeth in. I had eaten 6 tums too! WTF. Made me also consider never eating a super raw again. If you figure anything out let me know for sure.

Your garden is marvelous. You've turned out some beautiful plants. I love your videos. I think that before I found THP I might have stumbled across one of your videos when I first started searching this crazy hot shit I now call my friend.

You're doing a great job M...keep it up! I'll be looking forward to some more updates and Vids.

beautiful looking pods! congratulations and good luck with the rest of the season.

Thanks Buddy! I can't wait to start postin harvest pics!

Man oh man! That looks mean!!!

I am really excited about those Primos. They are always the gnarlyest pods and I haven't eaten one yet. Gonna be a hot one!

I am gonna try a thing or two to fight the stomach pain, and I hope I don't have to retire from the fresh poddage. I am always good with hot food, it is just the raw pods that have a tendency to get me. I have eaten more pods that do nothing, but there has been a handful that really put me down for the count, like where I am like why in the F(*$ am I doing this dumb stuff?? Anyways, I heard peanut butter or mylanta/maylox may work well for that. Either way, I am gonna keep trying till I stop. Thanks for the garden compliments, it has been a very hands off approach for me, and it seems to be doing well. I cant wait to start harvesting pods and it will be a great day when I think to myself "What the hell am I going to do with all this??"

Anyways, fingers crossed! Thanks for stopping in!

I think you're totally right about getting the plants in the ground. That's always worked better for me. It just makes me respect the growers who do so much out of pots - I really am amazed because it seems like such a disadvantage. There's a lot of glogs where folks are getting a lot from their pots. I tip my hat to them.

BTW, garden looks awesome, just bustin with pods!

Your plants have exploded! I think all that mixed in rain has probably helped your in grounds as much as it hurt your container plants. Congrats on all that poddage!

I am definitely with you Andy, it takes much more patience and dedication to grow in pots. My garden is like the Ronco "Set it and Forget IT!" I am really hoping that my future assignments afford me the opportunity to grow in the ground.

Thanks for stopping in! From the looks of it, the rain hasn't hurt it....I was outside earlier tonight and I am definitely gonna be harvesting some pods pretty soon! I think that it worked out for the best, judging that I have MUCH more in the ground than in the containers. :)

Looking good! Keep it up dude! You got some gnarly podage going on :)

Thanks Rich! I owe a lot to you turning me on to the ways of the soil! Happy Growing!

Well, I decided to pull a pod off the plant tonight....
