JayT said:Sorry TB, that is soooo last year. I did both when I did AJ's superhot poppers. I will not be replicating that since it caused me to join the Tales of the Loo. I could repost the pics if you wish though.

paulky_2000 said:I did a whole baking sheet of orange habs stuffed with a crab, cream cheese, shedded Mexican cheese blend.....seasoned with old bay and topped with bread crumbs and fired in the convection oven and finished under the broiler. NO, no photo, but the point I'm making is that anything hotter than that would not be much fun to eat if you were truly hungry. I ate 15-20 of them and it felt like a firecracker had gone off in my stomach. My friend was ruined for a full 24 hours! LOL!! I enjoyed it, but anythig hotter would have been overkill.
I'd go hotter only in moderation and only for short, controlled bursts!

I didn't think about "before oven" pics and would have forgotten the finished pics had the wife not pointed out that you all would have chewed my ass like steak. After 15 yrs she's finally starting to prove her worth I used mild pork sausage instead of ground beef, a bit of Patrick's fatalii powder, a copycat essence, some cayenne powder sharp cheddar with a mexi mix and it turned out very tasty!!!
