Today I noticed this (April 4, 2007)
"Most users ever online was 377, Today at 03:46 PM"
Wow. 377, thats a lot of chileheads at once. Good to see the site getting bigger, or at least more lurkers.

It's probably mostly bots (like google or yahoo robots trolling the site)

At one time, I could do a google image search for "shooty*" and it would bring up that picture of me playing guitar, on the guitar thread (well, it would find the thread. You know what I mean).

there WAS a good reason for searching for "shooty*", honest. Not just vanity. But I forget what it was.
 
I've googled myself (and my screen names). Actually, when you google my real name in quotes, there is a really funny hit where my first and last name (neither of which are common) come consecutively in a really bizzare fashion. All I can say is that if a future employer googles me, I hope he knows college football.
 
haha i googled my name and just found basically every forum i'm a part of and some threads i started. funny thing is i found a birthday thread someone started for me last year that i never even saw. was out of the country and it must've been buried before i was back. :clap:

I thought I was the only bored person that had ever done that, nice to know I'm not alone :)
 
Thankfully my real name doesn't pull up any info on me at all. My anonymity is still intact! ;)

In fact, the only thing that even comes up for Klyth is thehotpepper...
 
Well, what can I say, I'm not as smart as Omri. I have to struggle along as best I can.

And Google returns nothing but hits on your posts and a used chemistry book.

Nope. Very few are bots. Most are guests clicking on results from search engines visiting the site and lurkers that have not registered yet. Been very busy lately!
