My son is off to Parris Island SC in January to begin training as a Drill Instructor. We are very proud. Oohrah

Ooh Rah! Good thing he wasn't sent to Recruiter's School. Just remind him that there would be no recruits to train without recruiters, who work in a much more hostile environment than PISC.

And RLS is nothing to fear, as long as he trains Marine Recruits according to the book.

The function of the Marine DI s at OCS is to 'shake out' the chaff from the wheat.
In my experience Only the best DI s were posted at OCS and they did one hell of a fine job!
