Portuge I'm hoping they do I'm breeding some for later this year. Today I found a rhomboideum seed show a tap root really excited for that also move my plants out of the greenhouse might be putting it away til later this year. I will be moving 3 plants in ground soon one is a chiltepin hoping for a tree next will be a praetermissum also a chacoense or galapagoense. you guys can decide which will go in ground chacoense or galapagoense? Also have pods appearing sucks that my chiltepin Amarillo might be a cross.

I'd do the Chacoense more suitable to the weather. Galapagoense is probably more delicate to temp swings and what not. Having it in a pot has the advantage to move it wherever you want.

All or most of mine are outside and doing fine. Weather is officially good here. So let's hope for a good year.

Yea thats true walt then I will pot my galapagoense into a wal-mart bag because black plastic pots are trouble during summer here realized that last year. Will be doing a drip irrigation system to help when im away. Also happy with the growth happening right now.
Devv yea I get them right up the road from me at a garden store. Looks like they have taken out most of the aphids

Added Kiwanis melon to the list absolutely the craziest fruit I have ever tasted!!! If I had to describe it it is like a strawberry and banana smoothie being being blended on my taste buds

okay got some plants in ground still waiting on the rest of my melons and cucumbers to sprout then I will work out how much space I have left to plant more peppers. I will get another photo for you guys in a minute. im thinking of just going all out and planting them all in ground wilds and all my reasoning behind that is because the ones in pots are really taking a hit because I get direct sun exposure all day pretty much so the root zone gets pretty toasty and it isn't even hot yet.

Chiltepin took a beating after the aphid attack but new growth looks good. I give it a few weeks before it starts to flower

So those aren't seeds in front of the chicken? I thought you were going to use the chicken as a means of softening the seeds shell by the chicken eating the seeds...

Dang!! What are you going to feed them? Lol! Why not try to germinate seeds with them?

Keep in mind they love to eat pepper sprouts, and keeping them in a controlled spot is a hassle unless you keep them in a cage but insect control won't be as effective.

Idk, you can still control everything tho, but you need to think and see what you can do.

I read your PM, and sounds like a great idea. I just lost the darned paragraph I wrote... I have a few things I want to ask you tho. I'll PM you in a bit.

I was actually thinking the same exact thing about germinating some of my wilds tons of experiments to follow in the months to come

Working on my rooter/tropical plant propagator im trying rooting in it with a capsicum rhomboideum thats root got heavily damaged so in order to allow it too absorbs while working on recovering its roots im leaving it in a high humidity enviroment.

The view from the inside the plant looks great still for losing most of its roots so that is a good sign

Insect control will be effective, meaning the chicken will eat the plants, and insects will have no reason to stay
