It drains real good just watered. I know it gets hot as hell in summer and our winters really don't get cold enough to prob do too much harm to plants. Maybe like 3 or four days a year there might be a frost on the truck windows. But besides that it's warm all year. I have not been following any season or when to plant or when not to. Definately would like to get on a schedule where all my plants are producing at the same time, but still working on my germination process. Cold weather hopefully should be coming here soon too. If the plants start to show signs of unealthyness i have a setup inside ready for em.
 
just germinated about 50 varieties already under 10 days have 13 sprouts when is to early to start hardening off. the sprouts hit the top of bin then i move them out side out of direct sunlight is this to early and when can i give them fertilizer and sun? will have some pics soon

I'm still trying to figure out the best time and way to harden off seedlings. I had my seedlings outside under a shaded porch since they had sprung. Then after I got some lights they were under those for about 3 weeks 18 hours a day. I have since removed most of them outside into partial sunlight next to my fence. All of them are between 4" - 6" tall. So far they dont look like they are being stressed by too much sun, will let you know how it goes.

Im giving 1/4 strength Miracle Gro Bloom Booster 15-30-15 when I water.
 
I have not been hardening off my plants at all i realized except for this new batch of chili's i just germianted. the ones i did not harden off seemed to grow sooo slow now finally over a month they are starting to go somewhere.

in these i got a jalpeno early, black mexican cobra thanx boutros, bannana pepper,black hungarian wax, scotch bonnet red, cili goronong,
these all stay out of sun but in wind and humidity to get used to the florida heat.
In a couple days not even theyre will be four or soo more going outside too i feel i'm am much more experienced now to have a good harvest with these puppies all ready at a 30% germ rate in only ten days!:)
some rocks on the bottom for drainage the others without didnt seem to drain very well so many holes in the bottom.
 
also more good news my Bhut Jolokia is puttin out some nice flowers gonna get some bloom booster and kick this into gear. hopefully getting some pods in a week or soo. yessssssss!!

this made it through a tough virus diseae idk.
the 7pot i have has never set any flowers is coming back from strong from idk what but gonna give it some bloom see if it will put out some pods any advice would be nice thanks fade let me know how it works out.

I had this bug flying around my plants can't believe i actually got a shot of it was very windy at the time and this thing was fast the wings on it were bright bright red and its body was dark dark black was flyin around the flowers almost like an super pollinator

I just hacked these puppies down last night gonna let sit in sun for a bit to ripen up a little,these are plantains, anyone have good ripening or storeing let me know.I was gonn alet them stay on the tree longer but was gettin nervous about people taking them befroe me we have people roll up in trucks taking fruit from the local plants.
 
swimming in ripe isolated white bullet habs, Nothing was flowering when this plant was so i figure that nothing was able to cross with it so excited.
