Oops...Who leaked that?

Call triple M or nova radio, get em to coveer it coz most factories have a radio running and then someone will go oh, that must be the back flush from here... oops.

:headed off to google earth:

back in a bit...

yeah it strikes me as being some kind of detergent & the oily smell & look of the water...I'm thinking some kind of industrial degreasing.

I'd say whoevers doing it has 2 drains - on for sewerage (that would go to treatment palnt) and another for waste water. Someones hooked up the hose to the wrong outlet.

no excuse though - there should be safeguards to such things. They've saved a few dollars on proper labelling of the outlets & this would be the result.

Of course theres always the possibility its deliberate.

Worst case scenario is that it's a pumper truck that is unloading into the storm water drains in the industrial estate. Never be able to get em.

I can't believe they're still dumping. It boggles the mind.

Bent, have the officials closed off the park to make sure no one accidentally gets exposure? How about down stream?

Can rule that out RS - it's way more than a truck load.

It's election season, call all the candidates in your area and the sitting member. Tell the non sitting member candidates that he knows about it and is doing nothing! He he..

local paper (Southern Star) has picked it up. Say they're going to print my pictures.

Yay!

And, btw, you be careful getting those pictures, she says sternly. Until you know what that stuff is, you don't know how dangerous it is.

If you saw the stuff he smokes and the so called 'showers' he has then you might say this stuff could be an improvement.....

Likes to conserve water, does he? Well, we still don't want him bathing in dangerous chemicals, no matter how much it looks like bubble bath. Just wipe him down with some of that whiskey he likes so much, the alcohol will kill most of the germs.

Waste precious Whiskey!? I think not.

Well, we're still not dipping him in the creek. On the off chance I ever make it to Australia and get to meet Bent, I want him to have his skin on. I'm not fussy about clothes, but skin...yeah.

I was speechless when I first saw those pics. That's sick, nauseating.

Good for you for standing up for your neighborhood & environment.

Played with Google, that's a huge industrial park over there off of Ipswich Hwy. I see what you mean about having trouble finding the guilty party.
I hope they do catch them.

One day those south of the border will learn how to make fire.

hot water really is a rarity down there, but the natives are so quaint I didn't want to interfere with my modern ways.
