This is what you call a PROPER harvest! We've got some fatalii, fish, mini sweet, red habanero, mystery hybrid pepper, unknown thai hot, black pearl, red bell as far as the chiles go. Also seen are some yellow heirlooms, black russian (not very black), some bush beans, and 2 huge Indian eggplant.

Everything looks great, but those eggplants really stand out. They are so nice they almost seem fake. Nice job.

I preface this next pic by saying that my plants are once again loaded with pods to the point that some are fighting hard to stay up without breaking. I'm overwhelmed with peppers. :)

Here's last night's small small harvest of the very first ripe bhut jolokias and a couple fatalii and an unknown fishy cross.

Scozzese (c. annuum)

this is the one of two pod shapes this plant is producing. it's a beautiful plant with white peppers and purple stripes that ripen to a cherry red. hot, but not too hot. definite scotch bonnet flavor.

White peppers with purple stripes!!! How bout some pics.
Sure! I picked these in the dark just now, just for you. They look more green than white, but i couldn't see well out there.

2 ripe scozzese peppers. this details both pod shapes side by side.

I did a raw taste test on one of the scozzese. I ate half (tip to stem) just to sample for tonight's dinner and enjoyed it. Very sweet and bonnetlike flavor with a slow warm burn that builds and lingers long enough to let you know you ate it before fading. The flavor was great IMO and i wish we added more to the chicken/eggplant/pasta as there wasn't enough to notice. A sauce of JUST these pods would be killer and need no other ingredient aside from maybe a little onion and salt. This was a back/middle of the mouth burn, but never went too far. This would make a nice snacking pepper and a good pickling pepper with it's middle of the road heat.

Yesterday's dried pepper collection. One full pound of dried pods.

Today's apartment harvest, weight unknown. A nice little mix of everything.

looks like you are having a good season fine...hope it continues for you for another couple of months...

Dried green...hmm. I'm not sure. Likely just unripened fish crosses or something. I have some that i broke the branch by mistake so i saved the pods for green chiles.

Today's good harvest. Mainly fatalii, but got some nice thai, fish (cross), black pearl, my unknown mystery pods (from now on referred to as Pants Pods), and a few more bhut jolokia.

Nice stuff! How you like the fish cross? I have one from Smokemaster ad really like it.
they aren't bad. haven't had one raw, but had them in food and they were good. i like the other fish crosses i grew here at home a lot better. thinner skin and prettier pod type.

I also just got an AWESOME packet from Skydiver with some stuff i am really excited about. I seriously am very excited for 2010's grow season. I just munched one of the aribibi gusano pods and i like it! Not terribly hot, but i could definitely see tossing a dozen into a stir-fry and being VERY happy. Definite citrus notes. I can't wait to try fresh pods. :onfire:
