Interesting to see your 7 Pot Barrakapore cuttings.  Since they have leaves, I would assume they must be doing OK, but no visible roots yet?  You must be treating them very well.  Will be interested in seeing how your cloning goes, as I have never tried that with pepper plants and know I should just to preserve some of the better growing or tasting ones.
 
I just never seem to have enough room to overwinter anything unless I can keep them really small.  I have tried to overwinter in the green house, but since it is unheated, the peppers do not survive.
 
Will be looking forward to seeing how your 2015 grow matures.

The Barakapore was acting like a Spring plant late last Fall - vigorous new growth
and loaded with flowers.  Greg suggested rooting some cuttings in vermiculite and
perlite, so I gave it a go.  One of them had an awesome pod which ripened up in
the greenhouse!

Still nothing in the Aerogarden.  It was slower than direct sowing last year, as well,
but once sprouted, they grew uber fast.

The cuttings are indeed surviving, and I imagine at least one will make it eventually.
I hadn't planned on a Barrakapore this season, but what the heck  
 
OW in the greenhouse is not possible without a heater.  Patton
makes a really good one I got for $12.95 three seasons ago.  Pretty
efficient since it has two power settings, and I run it on the lowest.  
The greenhouse holds heat pretty good for a sieve!  I did score a
light to put in there.

The drying the seed pods at 105˚F hasn't seemed to affect the germination
rates adversely.  Without actually looking back at my previous grow logs,
these numbers seem pretty normal.  Only one variety  hasn't sprouted,
yet - BJ, chocolate, and very few have sprouted only 1/6, and some at 100%.  
I think the final hooks might not happen until next weekend.

I think the light is going to be a big help to the plants I have to put out in 
the greenhouse in Jan. and Feb.

I think the germination is about over, so most germination occurring at 6-11 days.  
No Chocolate Bhuts yet and only one Datil.   I'll let those Jiffy plugs go for awhile
longer.  A few varieties keep popping new hooks one at a time.

I have twenty-seven 18 oz. (.5liter) cups on the grow shelf
with 67 (71 as of 1/13) seedlings at the moment.  I will eventually cull down
to one seedling per cup.  Should  be transplanting to 2liter
containers sometime around the end of February or the
beginning of March, and starting annuums about the same time.

The Black Pearl is just in a three gallon nursery container,
so not really a bonchi.  I will eventually try to 'bonchi' it at
some point after this season.
 
Burn on the frozen plants, buddy.  Hate it when that happens!
But love it that they really survived!  Amazing what they can
undergo and still come back.

Updated germination data here.  The Chocolate Scotch Bonnet is funny.  One hook a day for six days!
Today there are 8/15 varieties at 100%,
      2/15 at 84%,
      2/15 at 67%,
      1/15 at 50%,
      1/15 at 16% and 
      1/15 at 0%.

The Aji Amarillos have grown a lot since the first post.  Goliath is still towering over the others.  
The two plants on the right are from the same pod - a really fat one.  The two on the left from a
different pod, a bright orange one.  The pots are 51/4 inches square by 61/2 inches:

The Aji Amarillos and Manzanos have done well so far.  I think
having the light on them will make the greenhouse much more
hospitable for both of them!

I dig your grow list PG, and your set-up is sweet. Beautiful plants...I'll be watching your progress closely
