Today's tally. A few more hooks of the same,
and three new varieties. Including two Wiri Wiri
hooks. This from THP member Wiri Wiri, via
Dr. McDog; the true variety. Really looking
forward to this one and hoping for some iso
seed.

I don't know what magic she worked, but Wiri's WW seeds were very vigorous starters for me.  I hope they do well for us both this season!

...and I still can't get that darn duck to post.

My plant out time is about same time as yours and interesting enough we both froze same time in 2019. The main difference is that I probably get higher average temps and less rain.
You are right, your summer conditions are probably
more consistently nice. Our problem here has become
the extreme variability, making hardening off difficult.
Early last Spring we had temps in mid-to high 90's,
followed by cold, drizzly weather. Poor plants were
in schizoid mode. Then it was a cool rainy cloudy
season in general.

I don't get that many opportunities!

Looking good Paul!

Glad the seeds popped well. That P. Dreadie cross: I looked up last years grow list and the mother plants seeds were from Gary in 2016. If I remember correctly Eric had a similar red plant, I seem to remember Bonda Mahala???

I really need to post some pics of your crosses! Shame on me, they're almost ready for the #1 pots....

Keep up the good work buddy!

Must be great seeing all that activity and potential, Paul!

I really enjoy the "every morning is like Christmas" feeling of the bigger germination rounds.

Thanks, fellas!  The Black Gold appears to be an
adequate starting medium. I'd say anecdotaly that
the germination rate for my own seed is as good
or better than any other media I've tried.

So, is this seed the third or fourth generation from Gary's?

The Bonda Mahala of Gary's I know is a
Yellow 7 x Bonda Ma Jacques

Yeah, Scott, can't wait to see those! Post some
in the community grow threads as well, please!
Keep up the good work buddy!

Thanks, Scott, your Sugar Rush Cream
and Trippaul Threat White seeds had
great germination results! Looking forward
to growing those out!

Still trickling in.
Capucino Chiltepin, Semillas de Palma,
finally emerged.

Looks like you are having a great start.  Every time I check in there are more coming in for you.  You are gonna be busy this spring.
Thanks, friend!

We’re at the right end of the bell curve as
far as germination goes, Ty. Way down in
single digits for new hooks each day.

But that doesn’t mean there aren’t new surprises.
This Yaki Blue Fawn from some of Cane Dogs iso
seed emerged while I was transplanting seedlings
today :

Not the best image, but you get the idea.

Twelve new transplants today. Eight more and
the chinenses and baccatums are done. Then
sowing the Round Two annuums around March first.

Still the wilds and Rocotos to transplant. I will have to
use the beverage cups for them since I only have 24 of
the quart containers. Maybe it would be better just to
put them in 2-liter squares right off the bat.

New kids on the block:
