Plants continue to look great, Paul!  I really like the leaves on the SRC.

What's your take on rockwool for germination and for the transition of the sprouts to soil?  I've found better success letting them root in a while versus the times of tried to transfer the sprouts soon after sprouting.

Hope you're getting some of the nice bright sunshine we are up here, today!
We have had some hours of sun, CD, but not more
than a few sunny days. Had some good weather a
couple of weeks ago. Really hoping for a nice grow
season this year.

As for the Rockwool cubes, l think they are pretty
forgiving. Two or three weeks from sprouting to
transplant is no problem. I even left my Trippaul
Threat seedlings for six weeks before transplanting
into cups with no ill effects. For ease of handling,
They are hard to beat. I found the Black Gold all
purpose potting soil to be an excellent germinating
medium and easy to transplant as it holds together
well.

Great plants Paul, that's going to be a nice little harvest from the SRP!

When you're done with round 2 - how many plants total will you be taking care of?

Thanks, HM. I am looking forward to trying the Sugar Rush Peach.

Let’s see, 21 chinenses, 8 Rocotos, 16 wilds, 3 baccatums, 12 annuums
if all germinate. That makes 60 plants if I can still add. Really more than
I have room for. I imagine I will dial back a little next year, but I have so
many cool seed varieties In my box, that may be difficult!

Another 3 for 3 - Spanish Piquillo from Semillas la Palma.
One of the best stuffing peppers around:

I'm going to name my duck 'Edit'.

The chinenses are starting to look a bit more perky
since Cal-Mag was added to the fertilizer routine.
Beginning to grow larger now that roots have filled
the one-quart containers. Aphids have been a real
nuisance this season. Gave all the chinese's a good
NEEM soak today:

Beautiful plants buddy boy, love the selection and your usual killer growth. You staying safe and Costupid-19 free?

Thanks, GPR, good to see you back in business.

I hope you have a great grow this season.  Been a
bit raggedy here between aphids and micronutrient
deficiency early on, but things are starting to look
up a little.

We are just staying home (as usual) and avoiding
other people. So far have escaped the covid 19 Bug.
Many, many others not so fortunate. I hope you and
your family are among the fortunate!

Oh wow, the aphids are sneaky little suckers. Micronutrient deficiency dang, must be more sensitive varieties or you changed something .

Glad you guys are doing good, I know you’re an old man and all.
Been interesting here as couple folks we know have or got it, gauging my family currently but I think we have something else (as usual w/kids). I have learned that if ya get it, to soak up the sunshine as it helps recovery rate and if I do get it then I’ll be going full guinea pig with taking super hot peppers via capsules .

Loving how the Aji Benito and SRP are doing for ya, Paul! Pods already in March must be some kind of record! ;) I do like how proliferative they are, but you are for sure raising the bar!

Stay safe and sunny my friend

All of your seeds have performed very well
for me, Erv. The SRP is a real winner, alright.
The Aji Benito has a ton of micropods on it!
The KS Lemon Starburst is turning out to be
a nice plant. Thanks for sharing those!

Staying safe, all right. Not so sure about the
sunny part!

Hey Paul!

I've been somewhere out there, figuring out my brain after 47 years of having to be responsible. And the figuring out was fun!

So sorry to hear you had to visit with those surgery peeps, glad you're mending well. I can see how your babies needed you while you were recuperating. As they now are loving life again ;)

Be healthy and safe buddy!

Glad to hear you have it all figured out, buddy

Be healthy and safe buddy!

Surgery recovery is slow with such a deep
incision in the side of my neck, but it's a
little better as time goes on. Radiation treatments
start end of April. I may take some plants in with
me to give them a few roentgens!

Social isolation has been a way of life me for awhile, now

Hope you and family are well.

Amazing work so far, Paul! You have got a lot going on.
Thanks, friend. It’s a bit more than I bargained for,
but I got so many great seeds from seed swapping
this season I got carried away!

I love that mirror curtain.

Hey, Unc. It really does make a lot of difference
in keeping the plants from leaning in toward the
center.

Two more seeds up today, at day 13.
Just the Padron left to show. If those
don’t make it I will start some more. It’s
too good of a pepper not to have some
for roasting on the Barbie!

Nice looking plants all! They are really super plants that throw lots of pods.

Now I feel stupid, I guess I misread, thinking you consolidated the Trippaul Threat and Thunder as one glog.  So now I need to take more pics...

Nah, I am too lazy, so I just kept them both going!

I agree about the productivity of both types, really
put out the pods along the length of their rangy
branches.
