Hi Paul, nice to see the peppers producing ...all look great& the mini wmelon is cute. ;)
It's been so hot & sticky here that I just could not deal with it when home,do did  bare minimum, now we have a bit of a relief.

I grew a Black Pearl ornamental pepper but the leaves were black as were the pods prior to changing to red, presume this  is
a "Pearl" of a different species?

Things are really looking great Paul; it seems like non-stop awesome pictures lately.  Like yours, my CAP 1141 and 1478 praetermissum both prefer shade and will day-wilt something awful with too much sun.  And those flowers with the 8 to what, 13(?) petals are crazy.  I'm wondering if they're all from the same plant or from various.

Great to see how well things are doing, especially with how poor the weather was until just a few weeks ago.

How would you describe the taste profile of rocopica?
There are a few little green pods on the plant,
but I haven't had a ripe one to taste yet.

Hopefully soon, Dieter!

My Black Pearl's leaves have darkened up in
the recent warm spell. the leaves on this one
are not as dark as the last one I grew. It looked
more like my Black Prince (very dark leaves,
purple flowers.)

I can't wait to see the pod clusters color up on
the Pearl! The seeds came from The Hippy Seed
Co. for both this season and the last Black Pearl
I grew.

Man those plants are looking good! I'm sure you're going to have an impressive harvest this year
Thanks, Matt!  Don't know how the chinense harvest
will be. Not many pods setting due to the recent hot
weather. since we're already in August, I'm not sure if
they will have any ripening success.  We'll see.  There
will be some bright spots however. the Mini Rocotos,
XL Brown Rocoto, the annuums and the wilds will be okay.

Awesome grow Paul!

Great to see those plants taking off after some setbacks with aphids. Looking forward to see some good harvest pics!
Me, too, HM! Hoping for enough nice Fall weather to
ripen up some pods.

Thanks, CD.  the Praets look much better since I
moved them to a shady table top. Lots of flowers,
and even a few pods setting.

Praetermissums remind me of rocoto plants in
several ways.

Those flower pics were from different plants.

The weather has definitely improved since mid-July.
I hope we get the Fall we're looking for this year
here in the PacNW!

The PDN x Bhut Jolokia flower. Some purple
on the back, waxy white with light purple
shading on the front. The pod in the left back-
ground is on the Putapario c. chacoense:

Looking good [emoji106]. Small pods on the Glen pepper , eh. Are you originally from Texas [emoji1787]. They look respectable to me [emoji16][emoji106].

Haha, Bryan! The pic makes the pods look larger than they really are

That chilli costa rica plant is really cool Paul!
Thanks, fellas. Definitely one of my favorites, as well!

Looks like the PDN x BJ will have long pods:

Plant from Dragon49 last May.

Took all the ‘wood’ out of the c. praetermissum plants.
No way any flowers will develop and set pods in time
for ripening weather:

The annuums have been busy since the sunny weather
arrived a few weeks ago.
