D3monic just sent me an awesome surprise package in the mail!!! Dude, I can't say thank you enough, man! I had no idea this was coming, and it was totally unnecessary! I'm really looking forward to getting into "The Fermentator!" Like always, I'll post some detailed reviews in your sauce thread, bro, as soon as I get caught up (I still have Shorerider's to do too ;) )

Thanks again D3! :metal:

P.S.- I have a couple more weeks to go on my ferments, and you'll have a box coming your way, D3 ;)

MikeUSMC,

To my embarrassment, I've been slow in trying D3Monic's sauces. Not for lack of respect mind you, but so many other variables. I've a great collection of sauces and since my involvement here on THP, I've acquired so many more. So I show'em off a bit before I eat them.

The one I have tried, only since Christmas, was the Sweet Thai. I assume it was made for oriental dishes, but for me it has been slamming with summer sausages and other such charcuteries.  He could call it anything he wants, but the sweetness is there, the consistency perfect and the "heat" is spot on. Just right. Prosciutto, Sopressata, cream cheese... this sauce nails it perfectly.  Any hotter and it would be beyond my threshold. But, to me, as it is -   "dead on" in both heat and flavor.

I'm no professional reviewer nor food critic, but in simplest terms would give it "two thumbs up." Especially for the uses I describe.

Being a commercial hot sauce maker, it may seem to some counterintuitive to give credence to anyone else, but in my business model - I truly wish success for all. It's a big market.

Having tried this sauce and damn near emptied the bottle, I would "buy" it again. Although in this case it was a "gift."  I will in due time try the others.

D3,

Sorry for such late response. In complete seriousness, this Sweet Thai is a good product. (You know this already, but it never hurts hearing from an independent source.) Thanks for sharing.

No problem Mike, I was last minute rushing the package together. Sorry about the lack of shrink bands. Rest assured they are unopened bottles.

My gratitude goes this time to @wiriwiri, I just gave her a hint about something and she was so nice to send me some seeds. I mean not just some seeds, but seeds of wilds. Thank to her, now I am a "father" of many wilds like Eximium, Lanceolatum, Cumari do Para, CAP501, Cumari Pollux and Guatemalan wild. Now working to see these little babies becoming nice and happy plants. Thank you wiriwiri! Woohoo!

I contacted a member here on a long shot about a pepper I seen them post about, and asked if they wanted to trade, and we came to an agreement for a 1 to 1 trade, I actually sent 2 different types to him without saying anything about the extra, and in return I got back 6 different kinds.

I sent

Brazillian Starfish
Dundicut

and I got back

Aji Bolsa De Dulce
Aji Fantasy Yellow
Infinity Chili
Bhut Jolokia Purple
Fatalii Gourmet Jigsaw
Peach Bhut WM x 7 Pot Jonah

I only asked for the Fatalii Gourmet Jigsaw, and I can't say thanks enough for he extras, I just wish I would have known before hand. So thanks Ghost Pepper Revolution!
