Pepper People are the Best

a while back Reggie/Warrentman gifted me his line of sauces so i wanted to do something in return. i don`t make hot sauce and in the dead of winter i had no fresh pods to send him but i saw him post about liking craft beer so i sent him a few from local brewers in my area. today a box came and i open it to find a HUGE selection of craft brews from his local area. his kindness means a lot and reminds me that Pepper People Are The Best!  :onfire:

thanks man  :)

I'm thinkin English muffins for breakfast tomorrow :metal:
Wow GIP, 24 hour mail delivery by USPS--alert the media!

I don't brew hotsauces yet, or have any powders that come close to the complexity of that Serrano powder of yours, but I'm told I can make a jelly. My butcher slathers it on porkchops...let me know what you think, eh?

If there exists a better pepper jelly, I've never had it. That Chokecherry Aji is "off-the-chain" excellent!!  ;)

Wow Reggie, thanks! That really means a lot, especially from someone who produces the stuff you do!

By the way, GIP, that "Turbo-Limo" jelly is a science experiment: I blended fresh Turbo Pube with a measure of Aji Limo powder. If I get a positive consensus from my guinea pigs friends I share with, I'll make it again this coming season...

I've only tried the Chokecherry Aji Oro so far on sourdough English muffins
I had no idea what to expect, as I have never had chokecherry before this
Delicious  :!:
I could see this being great on everything from Waffles, to a leftover Turkey sandwich in place of cranberry sauce, or brushed on some grilled shrimp skewers  :drooling:  so many possibilities
the heat comes on slow but doesnt get crazy

Thank you very much for introducing me to chokecherry  :metal:

Funny...you know if it weren't for an exchange I read between Greenchilemonster & Malarkey one regarding their mutual love for Rocoto jellies I very likely might never have tried the blend, so I owe those two for the spark...Dru, you're absolutely right, this thread alone is inspirational and very reflective of the "warmest" community on the web!
