I say again: I got into it for the peppers, but it's the people that really make this whole thing what it is. I really don't think you all realize how many people you've inspired to want to be better people. Thank you.
I actually logged in to post about two epic boxes I received in the mail. One from Smokenfire, one from Beerbreath.
The word's pretty much out, but all of Dru's stuff is outstanding. Until now, "Rocket" was my favorite. The last time I had it, By the time I got to the last third or so of the bottle, I found myself sipping it. Mild enough heat and full enough flavor for that. I have to say though, Dru, that test batch needs to go into production, man. You've outdone yourself. It's even better than Rocket. When the people speak, ha gotta listen to 'em. Like I told you when I first tried it, I know those particular varieties aren't commonly grown for production. I know a worthwhile product when I see one, and you're on to something here. When things take off and you need pods for #3 (or whatever you end up calling it), you've got my word that you won't have a problem finding the pods you need to make it.
When Anthony told me he had sauce headed my way, I knew it was going to be good. If you know anything at all about making sauces and you read his posts on the subject, it's obvious the guy knows what he's doing. It still blew me away. So far, I've only tried the sauces, but the smoked jalapeño is rich beyond words, balanced with a bright acidity, and the yellow bhut...well, this is the first time I'd ever venture to describe a sauce made with superhots as "smooth." Don't get me wrong, it's hot, but it lacks the sharp edges of my own sauces. I've really never had anything quite like it.
I find myself wondering what would happen if we could get the two of you in a kitchen for a month with an endless supply of pods to experiment with.

Her exact words about Rex: "he's the real deal," "he's committed to people," and as of five minutes ago "I understand now what you've been saying about chileheads." That last one, especially, speaks volumes.

Just wanted to jump on here to say thanks to Romy6.
Thanks James for the box of peppers from your harvest a couple weeks ago. I got to burn while trying some peppers I never had before and reinforce the fear some friends have when I hand them a somewhat harmless looking pepper.
YOU ROCK!
Agreed. Jamie's a boss, even if he IS a 'Noles fan.
