No prob. Shane. I started the Morugas late, I heard about them and already had the Brains going so I figured I should grow both. I was interested to see the outcome after all of the controversy. Thought I would post a few pics of my first ripe TS Moruga Blend.

Side thought: I'm wondering what this is a blend of (I assume that means cross?) Also, all of my plants (that have pods on them) are ripening up. I think this next two months should produce a lot of fruit!

I'm giving some of my peppers to a local burger joint and they are going to have a special that they are going to use them in. Hmmmm wonder which kind to give them.....Brain Strain....muhahahahahaha.

Wow, you've hooked up to supply a local burger joint. That's pretty awesome. You'll have to let us know what the burger is, how it tastes and so on. Plus pictures, of course. Do you get to name it?

Thank you, thank you. I'm not sure the details. The owner is a Chilihead himself. He said he's been on THP, didn't get his screenname though. He has his own line of sauces as well. He hooked me up with a couple pounds of peppers earlier in the year for free, so I'm giving back to honor his generosity. I don't know the details but I will let you know soon. I've got to wait until these pods start ripening more than one at a time. Just these last few days they've started to ripen in a more harmonious manner. I'll be rolling in pods soon enough.

Hahaha, yeah, I wanted to do something with it but my buddy ended up trashing the thing. Not sure what's gonna happen for the special. I don't know if I'm going to give up the Brains. They are supposed to make me back a little money to put back into the garden. I think my buddy and I spent around 1,200.00 bucks on it. We were going to try and make a little of it back so we can improve the garden. The garden soil is crap and needs some fresh soil turned in, we want to get a better grow light for the winter time. You know how it goes. Anything to make it a little easier and a little bit better every year. So with that being said, I might give him a couple pounds of Caribbean Red Habs. They are monster peppers and pack some good heat. I'll post a pic of them tomorrow.

Hey D-Rock. I was leaning towards "Surprise! You only thought you were going to die." Burger....lol

Mini Update: Our plants are all starting to get some pods on them. Most only 1-5 peppers set but it's better than nothing. I'm still just not going to worry about it this year. Also there's still 3 months left, so we will see what happens.

The podless plant at my house finally got some flowers on it! (and I have no idea what kind of plant it is...lol.) I think it's a Peach Bhut....all the rest of the plants are starting to ripen up too. I've had 5 TSMB's ripen so far and it's starting to put out flowers again. Hope the next harvest is thrice that amount (or more :pray:

)

Need to do another feeding on both gardens.....TEA TIME!

Off topic, I went and played a poker tourney and took 1st out of 70+ Hoping to enter a few more here in the near future. I've got a home game to play tonight...wish me luck!

Thanks Shane, 70's a small amount compared to the tourneys I'd like to be playing, which are hundreds if not thousands of players. A win is a win though and it felt good.

What a great Glog you have. I read through the entire thing and glad I did. Lots of good info. I think I need to increase the potassium and stuff to get pods earlier and possibly more. I see yours ripening and other people have great harvest already which is such a joy to see. You going to review any of your pods??? Hint Hint..... as I chant REVIEW REVIEW REVIEW. Great growing to you

Get some garden pics up! Poker is sooo 08 hahahaha JK. I remember working 12 hour shifts and playing 7-8 hours of cards every night. Two tables of no limit, a table of 2-7 triple draw and a table of razz simultaneously. Plus betting the ponies in OZ after 11 pm. Whheewww.... Took 15 years off my life but was fun. I remember a satellite one time that top 10 out of 5000 got a chance to play for a large sum of money, I made it in but it ran long and into the main tourney. Refunded me to enter another satellite for a similar tourney. I was PISSED.... Quit gambling altogether shortly after that.

I humbly thank you Sanarda, the two things I wanted to come from this Glog where to meet new people and share information. I've accomplished both. It's a lot of fun to write. I've been dabbling in that area, trying to increase my pod production. The plant that is producing the most pods for me (out of 6 of the same plants) is my BrainStrain 7 Pot plant that I put a fish in the bottom of the bucket. I really, really, really think that the fish did wonders for this plant. I have another BrainStrain that is not in a pot and is bigger (in the ground) it does not have nearly the same amount of pods on it. I'm going to be catching a lot of fish next spring and burying them throughout the garden! I love it. As for reviewing pods....it's a possibility. I don't know yet. I'm still nervous about super hots after my incident with the Black Naga. We will see where it goes towards the end of the season. I'm trying to build myself up to it again.

I have some fish heads in a bucket that have been sitting for a couple months. I think I will dig a hole close to my plants fill the bucket back up with water and put it in the holes to see how that does

I played a lot of online poker....so glad they got rid of it....lol. Not because I think it should be illegal but because I am no good online. I'm a brick and mortar type of player. Give me real people, face to face and I'm gold. I do miss Razz and Omaha H/L though. I really got into those two games. I dabbled in 2-7 low a little bit too. I liked joining those HORSE tourneys. That would have pissed me off too. Doing that to a player.... It's like beating your new born baby....you just don't do it man!

My garden is so F'ing crowded, I can't even get to my plants without the risk of breaking limbs off of others. I've been seriously contemplating chopping some branches.....I just haven't been able to bring myself to do it. I've got pods coming in everywhere though. It's starting to look real nice in both gardens. Over at my buddies house, things are boomin' pods are starting to set on everything. Not very many but they are coming. I have high hopes by the end of the season.

you should fill the bucket with water and then let it sit, stirring it occasionally until it all dissolves. Then you will have homemade fish hydrolysate. Yummmmmmm.... :hell:

Got a nice Box of Heat in the mail from Mr. Pulpiteer! Thank you much Andy, I really appreciate you sharing the spoils of your wonderful garden. I'm going to enjoy every last bit of the face melting goodness.
