Despite Dammit's (loving) nickname of "Tubby", she's not all that fat. I get her shaved every spring so she doesn't have to wear a big nappy winter coat all summer and my wife and I are always amazed at how small she is when she's naked. She's certainly not skinny by any means, but definitely not as rotund as that pic makes her look.
But yeah. She looks like Chewbacca ate a tonton.

A couple of new ones from yesterday...

Duncan lounging on the back of the love seat.  I know I'm not supposed to let him do it, but he just looks so damn adorable when he does.

Luna with a partial derp going on.

Golden Retriever/Chow sounds like an interesting combo.  Does Rusty happen to have the black tongue that Chows are known for?

No black tongue...he has the red coat and fat bushy med length curl tail from chow traits.

Always get tons of compliments how beautiful he is.

He has the smarts and nose of the Golden Retriever.

He's very protective of his home, yard space and family.

I have no doubt he would give his life to protect or save his family if the situation arrised.

Well we "rescued" a dog on Turkey day. 16 months old has lived in a apartment, lots of time in a crate and no chance to run.

Meet Homie.

This dog has been getting walked everyday 2 miles and gets to run the back yard. I also chain him up in the nursery when I am working back there. He has killed one hen and changed a roosters life, lol. Homie was buck crazy with no manners at all. He has come a long ways in the last couple weeks and I love the little guy. He seems to really be enjoying his new life also.

Video of him second day here.
