If you're a wizzard in Photoshop, you could make that crack even bigger... that picture would then be making a statement.
"The Pawns are the first to go."
Good job, Blue.

Thanks, I rebuilt it & re-wrapped new antique guides on the rod and re-resined it. Found on trash pile at one of my good friends grandfathers home. Naturally I asked his grandpa permission first and he was glad to see someone take what he thought was trash. The lure is actually not as old, I picked it up during a fishing trip down in the FL Keys some 17 years ago and made it look old by using it for years, luckily I didn't lose it. The cork but is actually new but cut down to fit correctly. The line I traded with a tackle shop owner is correctly dated. I also have an antique throw net hanging on the same wall but eventually took it down, the neat thing about it is all the plastic parts on today's throw nets are made from bone on it. I should hang it back up but have actually been using it to catch bait lately, heheWalk, nice. Everything about those pics screams antique. The well used lure... the non-nylon line. Don't ever use that find. Keep it "as is" and mount it on your man-cave wall.
For the Bird lovers .....
Nice, we'd get along nicely. Between the peppers, cooking and photography. I love shooting birds as well. I'll post a few..She'd say the better half , I'd say my wife and best friend
ThanksThe halo effects on Liz's photos could be that way because they were shot thru a window . Or my guess is it's an effect that happens when you're tightly focused on the subject and the background blurs but a digital camera still trying to get info.
Both are just guesses .... I'm not great with a camera
JHP your Bird photo's are super. Birds we don't see here for the part. Really nice.
WalkGood ... really the Pelican shot
