Plantguy76 2021

I am still in the planing stage for this year grow.
My list is not even properly formed .
I got alot of old seed that I've been going threw & waiting for a order to come in.
This year really the direction I've been heading these past seasons is geared towards pepper jelly or rather Jam as I come to believe that's what I actually make .
I'm also looking towards pickling & hot sauce making .
My ideal pepper profile is hot to very hot ,sweet & fruity not much floral citrus is fine as well.
I loved the Yellow Trinidad Scorpion I had some seasons back crunchy , juicy & sweet with fruity & citrus tones
It was pretty darn hot as well.
I may of been a cross the guy I tried it form never would give a clear answer .
If it was a cross I believe it was with a scotch bonnet.
I've rambled enough for now lol.
Anyway my list for now has only one pepper on it & that's Rayados Jalapeno .
I will do a proper list when I've decided better just wanted to get the glog out.

Evicted the Amazon I was over wintering think it was trying to hang on as some of the limbs had some life still in them but it was time for her to go.
I instead am going to use some of her seeds that may or may not germinate as it's a end of season pod .
It also could be crossed with Traveler Jalapeno or Miss Cleo Dragon but that's part of the fun.
I then gave miss Cleo a much need hair cut.
I think I will up size her container if she makes it .
I am currently waiting on a order form Jim in case he put in freebies with my last order.

Thanks Paul been thinking I might need to grow a baccatum like sugar rush peach or something .
I grew the SRP Peach and Cream last season.
Of the two the Cream was my favorite. Thick,
juicy and sweet tasting flesh. Growing the Red
from Jeff Contino this season.

Do you need Peach or Cream seeds?

Paul I would be interested interested in both will be sending you a pm & thank you very much

List is still in development but here's a rough draft.
Annuum's
Rayados Jalapeno
Padilla Nice
chinense
Cappuccino SB
Yellow Trinidad Scorpion (Cardi)
Other
Says Jamaican Red but that a generic name as the first time I grew them under the same name it ended up be Jamaican red mushroom.
They claimed then it was a bonnet following seasons there seed kept on being crossed with some hab or SB
I grew one of those crosses for some seasons then quit
They have for the last few years had this new pepper on there under the same name they say it's a chinense but I got to take that with a grain of salt .
Anyway that's where I am for now will be updating

These pics are of Amazon the best I can tell is it's closely related to Fatalii & devil tongue & possibly lemon habanero
I got the plants form CCN the heat was quick & wicked Tongue burn .
Peaked fast to me & the flavor was a slight citrus ,strong tropical with some slight floral tones .
I believe it would best be used as a sauce that is my plan for those in the freezer.
Also the flavor last a long time .
This pepper ripped up my buddy he ended up vomiting.
He said he thought the worse was over then it came back & the second time was worse .
I guess it good I didn't bring the mourga scorpion then like my other friend wanted

Keep working on that list, buddy!

I have some pretty good 'F6 or F7' JA
Red Habanero seed from original seed
sent by Devv in 2014. Nice big red pods,
look like small red rocotos! Grows well in
our coastal temperate climate at 45th parallel.

That sounds awesome Paul hope they & everything else does well for you this Season

Thanks to Paul G adding
Baccatum's Sugar Rush Peach & Cream

Purple Thunder F4 Yellow/ caramel
Trippapaul Threat version 2 F2 Peach
I am also going to try & sow OP seeds of Amazon it was close by Jalapeno Traveler & Cleo Dragon.
I only had/have one cleo (trying to over winter it)
The chances of having cross with Traveler are higher had more & one plant branches was close.
I also know next to nothing only my own findings it very well maybe a hybrid .
So let's say Amazon F1 for now
That should do it for my list of 2021 as far as peppers
