We got gypped by FIFA for the 2022 World Cup, the cricket team is shite, the rugby union/league teams are rubbish and we have Bon Jovi, U2 and someone called Jay-Zee touring. Oh and Beyonc-ay?

Some chick called Opera is here, and she met with the Prime Minister, hugged a Koala, saw a crocodile feed and seems like an influential person (given the amount of press she has), yet real danger awaits..

45 NSW and Qld shires (like counties in the US) are a disaster zone due to flooding, and Victoria and SA have been hit hard... South East Qld is looking at 50-75mm tomorrow, which means North NSW is in trouble... with a season forecast of above average rainfall, 4-5 cyclones in the North.. it doesn't bode well!

Spare a thought for your poor Australian friend this week.

Anyway, I'm off to watch an Opera?
 
Sorry to hear of the flooding down there mate.

I recall just a couple of years ago you folks had some seriously nasty bush fires goin' on there.

Hope it all balances out though.

yesterday I saw 8 helicopters flying over head and I thought it was an army or police exercise....but nope just Opra and her brown noses off to see the sights!!!
 
Jeez and we dont have enough water over this side this year. You would think we could balance it a bit better than that.
