So, I'm not the boss of you, or anything...  Just, if you want to.

I find that this one works pretty well.  Also helps keep chronic masturbation at bay.

I like the 17 year Doublewood, but there's something in it that gives me a smashing headache, every time.  And that's sipping scotch, so there's no excuse for that...
.
This (brand) was the first Scotch I ever drank.  And I actually drank it in Scotland. So we have a bond.
.
Also, if you felt inclined to develop a taste for scotch, you want to start with a highland style - less smoky and peaty than the more "manly" scotches. (I don't really like those, either)

Am I really the only one that was amused by the talk of doublewood .

Since I can't drink the Doublewood without suffering, I just figured having 2 Singlewoods at a time, was pretty much the same net effect...
.
That's a win for logic, right there. ;)

I had to diversify.  My original stock wore out, and I am testing different products for effectiveness.  The Japanese antiseptic is a known good one.  Domestic antiseptics only seem to be effective against particular strains - usually those that are found in casinos or trailer parks.

That is some nice whisky there , and I have been digging the Paso Robles wines the last couple years.

Sonoma, Paso Robles, Willamette, and Columbia Valley.  In that order. Some of the finest wines on Earth. (Napa rather overrated, for me)  French wines? meh.
.
When I was in Portugal, I drank some very fine, and very moderately priced wines, that I am certain will never reach North America.  For $13, you can get some great Portugese bottles uncorked at your table, at even upscale restaurants.

But US wines are no joke...  I will, however, apologize to the world for Budweiser.

I am venturing into the Corona-dome tomorrow. Ran out of 'cheapbaileys ' this morning, ran out of white box wine around noon, still have a half a box of red.

Wow, when typing that i had a flash of OfRed.. -Offred....handmaids tale...

May the lord open, under his eye....

Yea... NOT!

That's a fine collection of superb value for money antiseptics...  The Redemption Rye and Monkey Shoulder blended are both best in class.  Not the best, but quite hard to find similar products that work better, for the price.
.
I think that's the antiseptic equivalent of "working smarter, not harder." :D

It looks like a whiskey vault episode lineup.

I will be honest pictures of sealed bottles generally iritate me.
I have seen too many pictures of sealed bottles "collections" from secondary market speculators on Instagram.

Portveyn. The only spirytus I can get here is 76%. Really high ABV anything is fairly rare here.

Ashen, the bottles are sealed because I just topped up my collection before the lockdown.

This doesn't irritate me, in this case. I mean, I tend to believe that any type of "collecting" is a particular type of mental illness. I can't really appreciate the hoarding of things whose utility is not obsolete. Or the assholishlness of artificial inflation of the primary market for a commodity.

I'm giving benefit of doubt here. We're in good company. No antiseptic hoarders amongst these fine folks. Just people with good taste, who are heeding the order to shelter in place. #everydayheroes
