Where is the youtube link TB? We want to hear what a V sounds like with a Bigsby.

Workin' on that amigo.

Just started a new job to pay for all the stuff I need.

Another amp, another Les Paul, a P.A., NOS tubes, a couple pedals for backup.

When it comes to music and gigging, mrs. blues says I can't use OUR money to finance my projects.

And I fo' sho' ain't gonna' use MINE!

Therefore...back to work.

Now that is a chunk of change you are laying down. Especially if you are getting an amp that can really make the Les Paul sing. Not cheap for sure.

Postie up the amp and pedal porn too. my anemic pedal collection is just a TS-9 and a tuner.

Si senor.

Unfortunately the amplifacadore's I use to get my tone are low power tweeds, specifically 5e3 Tweed Deluxe for one but they ain't cheap.

Only recently have I started using pedals and what I use now is rather spartan. A TU-3 tuner, into a Tech 21 Blond, into a

an 80's Ibanez AD-80 delay, and when at home, a TC Ditto looper, thats it.

I love the analog style delay but I ain't gonna pay $300 shekels for a used AD-80, so will probably go with an

MXR Carbon Copy, which is the next best 'thang. The Tech 21 Blond is like having a tweed amp in a box and I can get

ever 'thang from 50's bassman & deluxe to blackface tone, and while redundant playing through a tweed circuit, it allows me to

achieve full balls on tone at low volume for gigs where I can't crank it up. Essentially my sound is pretty dang raw but

I need a Les Paul or V with p90's and a cranked tweed amp to get there.

What's nice is that I don't have to chase tone as I already know what sound I'm after and how to get it.

The bad 'thang is it took me 20 years and God only knows how much money to find it.

Here's cheapass squier tele and tweed....

You have me relieved that there is a Fender amp there. You were throwing me for a loop with all the Gibson guitars and one of your pics was near a Marshall stack, and I'm thinking WTF  , TB plays blues, not metal. Then the mental block cleared and I realized you had P90s in the guitars and now it all makes sense.

You happy with your TC looper? I've been eying the DigiTech Jam man. It is about the same price.

I hear that, ive cut grass on fridays just for drum money for the last two years. its the only money i make where i can just blow with out it being a problem. All money I make on the farm has to go right back to the farm. Or something nice for the wife, funny how its not "our" money when they want something.

I have the Jam Man as well.

Bought it about 5 years ago and I think overall its pretty good but I don't need all the features.

One con is that it takes up a fair size foot print if space is at a premium on your pedal board.

And as with all loopers it takes a little bit to get the timing down.

The TC Ditto has one button and thats it and about as small as a pack of smokes.

The con about it is there is no battery but it does have a 9v jack that any Boss 9v wall wart will work.

The ditto works for me and is a nice distraction at home but don't know if I'll ever use it live.

As for Fenders, I only have one, a Champ 600 that I use for playing in the wee wee hours when mrs. blues has gone to bed.

My tweeds are both Clarks, one a 5e3 Beaufort Special(Tweed Deluxe clone) and the other a 5f1 Lil' Bit( Tweed Champ clone)

Better than any 'thang Fender makes now, all PTP, chrome chassis, blah blah blah...

I would love to have some 50's vintage Fender Tweed. Its the sheeit!!

I picked up a Ditto today on your  (and others) recommendation. Nice pedal. Love the ability to lay down an infinite amount of tracks on top of one another. My son, who is the real musician in the house, loves it and is already thinking about how he can loop his electric violin with it. :D

You can say that again. On day one, I scrap 2 out of 3 tries due to timing. I'm sure I will get better though .

Also picked up a Voodoo Labs Pedal Power 5. My One Spot makes too much noise on the dirty channel. This thing is totally silent, love it. Well worth the investment, although, I probably would never have needed it if I played on the clean channel all the time, but I can't do that.

Glad you're diggin' the Ditto. If any 'thang it allows you to create your own backing track in real time.

That really opens up the creativity dept.

I need to get one of them 'thar powered pedal chingaderra's too.

On another note....

Now I got double trouble.

I can't get enough Bigsby!

After the first of the year I aim to put a B5 on my cheapass tele to add some wang toda' twang.

That would be a Kopf stomp box into a Fender Rumble 15 bass amp.

Bass all the way up, and mid and treble at zero.

After that mic'd with a SM57 into a Rolls ProMix IV and into my camera.

I've been using the Klopf for a good while now but never really like it as it doesn't get

enough of a bass "thump" as opposed to a more realistic bass drum sound.

For what it is though it does just okay for now until I get something else.

I'd like to build a box with an actual drum mic in it to stomp which I reckon would be way better.

I've never liked to be liking the sound of my own vox.

Christopher Walken doesn't either.

So that was a Vox? Sounds pretty good.
