music Post your guitar porn here!

Stole mrs. blues camera and tryin' it out.

Here's a shot of my rigs where I make my chart toppin' hits.

Note the Champion 600.

I use that for late night into the wee wee hours savagery so as not too wake mrs. blues or have

the establishment aka "the man", show up on my doorstep with big flashlights and bigger guns.

Has a nice 60 cycle hum to it when cranked but also a ratty speaker.

Cleaned that up quite a bit and ripped out the leftover from Sea Hunt neoprene shitassy grillcloth.

Now it actually sounds dang goodern' hell.

Before it sounded like it was inside a sleeping bag.

And for no damn reason I took a pic of this BMF....

She's a sexy bitch with an on board marital aid.

I only play one or two chords, mostly one.

But its the right one.

Looks good. The whites are a little cool (blue) on my iPad ...

I concur.

Still better than my caveman era Canon.

And for your further enjoyment....

Jimi looks frustrated but is still killin' it...

I have discovered the wonders of drop B. I used to never tune below drop C, with drop D being my main tuning for years.

I can't wait to try my new found appreciation for 7 stringer territory on that new Bugera 6262 when it arrives. You know that is going to be meaty!

My Bugera 6262 arrived today while I was at work. Everyone else in the house is sleeping, so I will have to wait until tomorrow to really crack 'er up. Woot!

Looks nice. Bet it just sounds great. Get some soundcloud clips if you have a good microphone. I'm interested to hear it.

TNRedit: Wow... Crunchy! This thing has an ungodly amount of gain. I don't think I could ever go past 3-4 on the gain. Surprisingly tight gain as well and even tighter running an OD up front. You can definitely tell it is a 5150ii/6505+ clone. I think it is a little nastier, though. Cleans are about what you'd expect. Useable, better than the cleans on my old 5150, but not exactly Fender cleans.

Unfortunately all I have is a camera microphone right now. I'd kill for an SM57 and a working sound card right about now. I am going to open her up here in a few to see how she sounds.

WRONG ANSWER. CRANK IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I use an attenuator.. LOL
I re-biased mine and put some JJ's in them. Ugh, still haven't pulled mine out yet.

Right. No way to get a Fender clean, but that's what a Fender is for ;)

There was something that you could only do with the footpedal, or couldn't do. It bugged me. I forgot what it was though. Channel switching? or maybe the OD button. Yeah that was probably it.

Nah, kids has school in the morning. I was polite about it. I made sure all the neighbors knew I got a new toy today, though!

So you put EL34s in yours? I'm honestly not a fan of the EL34s and the whole British sound (ie: Marshall amps). I like my 6L6s. Not just tonally, but they seem to have a bit more balls in my opinion. More punch.

Obviously nothing is going to sound quite like a Fender or other similar amp (ie: Vox AC30), but the cleans were surprisingly decentl considering the amount of gain this amp has and the style of music it is geared towards.

I will tell you EXACTLY what the foot pedal DOESN'T do. And yes, I noticed it right away and it irritates the hell out of me. You cannot switch from CLEAN to CRUNCH. Since clean and crunch are basically the same channel with a little button on the head itself that you press for the dirt. You can switch from CLEAN/CRUNCH to LEAD. And of course you can switch on REVERB on either channel or select EFFECTS LOOP. Also, you can't select the "BRIGHT" setting with the foot switch.

I have to say that hands down my favorite channel is the crunch channel. It is just so meaty and raunchier than the lead channel.

the dude and I are headed to a independently owned music shop tomorrow and perhaps a music exchange shop...
I was playing on warmoth.com and made this:

If I see anything that looks like that (the black stained wood, not the black painted), it will probably come home with me, if I don't see it then I'll probably settle for some traditional instruments from Japan or India, or the dude wants a mandola.

Wood stained where you can see the grain underneath is my favorite finish, hands down! Spalted maple is extremely sexy in my opinion! One problem I see with your design: It needs a set of EMGs. 81/60 is my favorite combo and is what I have in my ESP, but you can't go wrong with an 81/85 combo, either. ;)

Do you play or would this be your first? I can't say enough good things about ESP and ESP/LTD. Schecter makes a darn decent product as well. If they carry them, definitely give them a look. They carry models for most styles of playing as well.

And "The Dude", eh?

I've owned a guitar since I was 11, saved up every penny I found for it.  It cost me $100 and I still have it. I'm not a guitar player by any means but I can play chords, read tabs, and read sheet music. So if I practice something eventually I will be able to play it.  That guitar is just too pretty to not own it if I ever saw it.  Hell it may even make me play the guitar more.

Shit. No. Sorry they are six JJ ECC83S's with one balanced for the phase inverter in V6 and a matched quad of the JJ Electronic 6L6GC’s. I got those from eurotubes a long time ago. YES, the crunch to lead... It would've been great ot have that when playing live. I got kids too, so that's why I keep saying that I'll take it out one day. I think I threw some heavy-ass Peavey Black Widows in the Bugera cab. Like 20# heavy each.

The crunch channel is also my favorite.

RIght now, I am just going through a Jet Amplication Tube Combo 20W (original model).

Wait... Aren't those PA speakers?!

Well, I've done quite a bit of tweaking and experimenting with my new Bugera 6262 and I've found a setting that I really like. It is very close to the tone I used almost exclusively back in the day. Nicely compressed, incredibly tight, punchy and a bit nasally. And yes, regardless of how my setting appear, I have PLENTY of treble.

And here is my secret weapon...

Now before yall flame me, this pedal is capable of some incredible tones if you know how to dial it properly and it may not work with every guitar/amp combination out there. The MT-2 gets a lot of flack from people who simply have no clue how to use it or are TS9 fanboys. I run this up in front of my clean channel.
