1/23/12 After 3 days of neglect while I was out of town. Tray sat on a table near south facing window. Not what they needed but it kept them alive. I used my 15 minutes of free time for the week and hung a light for them.

@Shane you see any future reviews?

@sync always good to laugh.

@beehunter that plant is labeled brain strain.

Butch T's are finally coming. Pod production is way behind my other supers. Slow growers anyone?

Praetermissum... this plant is almost 5'. Awesome leaves and flowers.

White 7 pot.... I would be better off putting with it me thinks.

Looks Like a Trinidad Scorpion Morouga Blend pod to me

Is that butch T pod growing upwards or is that just the camera angle??

You have some great stuff going, as usual, pr0d!
Always fun to see what twisted, psychotic pods
your plants are spitting out!

Been awhile since I've been able to catch up on any glogs... looking great Pr0digal. Perhaps if you stopped playing Luther Vandross 24/7 in your garden the ladybugs would get something done

Haha.... They have been getting a heavy dose of Tammi Terrell and Sam Cooke. Randy lil buggers. I hope all is well with you and your plants.

Hey John, those plants are growing crazy-cool!
Ripened pods will be all over the place,...soon!
nice job with the plants

Greg

Time for an update... My inground plants are really jumping now. This year I tried a couple organic time release ferts to make it easier on myself. Our temps are consistant finally, and coupled with the ferts finally working, my plants are taking off. I started my annuums a lot later than my other varieties and I think the fungus gnats put a hurting on them. I am still further along than last year though...

Made a couple brews this past week to see what all the fuss is about. These were only given to a couple plants that had some nute lockout. My first batch turned out ok but I didn't feed it enough. Second batch turned out good.

Good head.....

First super starting to ripen...

Primos are my slowest plants as far as pod growth, plants are growing a large frame though.

Chubby bhut....

Chris' Not black Naga mean cross. Every pod on this plant is different, and nasty!

Thanks Jamie, those little pricks are taking forever. Probably my fav pod shape of all the supers.

My attempt at isolating. Anyone that has a better plan or can tell me this isn't going to work, please speak up haha.

Snipped all the bigger leaves off for room, and made sure no flowers were open.

Thanks... My plan is to leave the pantyhose on until a few flowers pollinate, and then tie a ribbon around the pod stem I will be saving seeds from.

Sounds like a great plan! My plan is shifting a bit...I have some virus issues right now. I was planning on doing the same as you. Now I think I will wait and see which plants don't get hit and assume their immune systems are up to snuff and ISO those as well as try some crosses with some that are affected to see if I can come up with some stronger varieties over the next few seasons.

Couple more pod shots from today. There is no way this is a brown 7 pot. Maybe I need to take a step back and let everything get ripe before I start bitching.

Morouga,Moruga errrr whatever it is, from a different plant.
2012-06-19_17-31-00_618.jpg

Another Primo from a different plant, these plants are spitting out the most consistant shapes. I was guessing they would be all over the place. It is still early.

Giant twisted choco hab from Chris. Elephant ear sized leaves on this thing.

Hey. On the isolation, a tip I got from Justaguy's grow is to use a drinking straw. cut a little piece off and then cut that piece open. Slide it around the stem to mark the isolated pod. I think the panty hose is a solid idea. I might mimic that. Nice grow!

Looking awesome there pr0d. Yeah maybe wait on those brown 7 pot/pods to see whether they are true or not.
I saw some pod shape variation across varieties from start of season to end with the more classical shaped pods of all types setting fruit and growing to ripe during the warmest months of summer.
Especially towards the end of autumn all the pod shapes got pretty distorted from what they had looked like especially when it came to the superhots and scotch bonnets
