1/23/12 After 3 days of neglect while I was out of town. Tray sat on a table near south facing window. Not what they needed but it kept them alive. I used my 15 minutes of free time for the week and hung a light for them.

Thanks Sil... You guys getting any good weather yet?

Lots of Good looking plants and Insects (And some not so good looking insects ... I hope not too many of them!!) Prodigal!! Its been a while since I had time to look at your thread but every seems to have been going extremely nicely .

Good to see you Trips... I take it your season is winding down? Any news on the newjob? Hope all is well mate.

Great plants and pics. The Triangulo looks interesting, I'll have to look that one up...
Spice I opened up an immature pod that had a hole in it. Thing was full of seeds and thin walled. When they mature I will srnd you pods or seeds.

Cheers Prodigal.

Season was winding down for a week or 2 .... now I am looking at sowing a few seeds within the next few weeks for spring plant out. I am overwintering a few but have cut my plant numbers right back to about 15-16 from 61-62 for the coming season to get some of my balcony back and try to maximise my yields off the plants I already know.

Yeah good news on my job front secured a new fulltime corporate job in the Brisbane CBD so stoked with that. Start in 4 weeks time with a 1 week holiday between that and my old job so the timing has been perfect

yeah that spider picture is fantastic :)

Gotta love God's Garden Defense Force.

The Scorps look a bit bhut-ish to me? Is it my relative newness to the species? Or does someone else see it too?

yeah - hopefully the weather isn't too hard on them.

we are getting some crazy rain right now from Beryl.

The pic elongated them a bit. They are showing signs of being a green scorp from initial hooking.. Three cots... Three leaf sets just like most everyone elses that are growing them. The skin on them is smooth as glass too.Could be bhuts though.... I wouldn't bet my life on them being scorps..

I'm overly jealous of your plants!! If you wanna offload some pods at any point , cough cough...... Hahaha looks awesome man!!

Got a chance to pot up a Couple plants tonight. I scored some 7-15gallon pots for $1 a piece. These are catching up to the plants in the ground finally, but my ground plants always seems to be nicer. Initially containers seem to get the edge early on...soil warms up quicker??????? Then because I have yet to figured out a good feeding regiment ,my ground plants blow ahead.

Aji chuncho... These peppers are going to be very tiny. One of my favorite plants so far. Not only tall but also starting to sprawl.

I know the bugs are probably getting old but one more. Hopefully this guy isn't as lazy as the lady bugs. All the want to do is have sex. One would think serial fornication would make you hungry. Next year lacewings!

Hey John,

Your plants sre looking great!......nice pod shots,.......................... .............. some of those will be ripening up soon.
Nice score on the nursey containers. The roots will appreciate the new "shoes"

No pods on my green scorps...yet, So you'll have to let me know how they taste. Pick'em before they soften or when the stem starts to discolor.
Keep up the great camera work..............Ansel

God I wish I had pods popping out like yours!!!!!!! Looking beyond great!!!!
What's mine is yours, couple months.

Haha Ansel.... I need to drop the coin on a nice dslr. Limited with phone, but it's better than my other cam. The scorps may turn khaki. Not the best containers but might get two years out of them. Alittle thicker than most nursery pots. Next year I may prune like you and increase yield.

Amazing Prod...incredible the start you've gotten up there! I know they're really going to take off in the bigger containers. Thanks for the info on the Omni, I could have looked it up, but why? When there is so much knowledge right here! So what is your favorite stage fruity or tomato...y? I have several in the yellow/cream stage that are over 3" and some smaller ones that get more sun only an inch long starting to turn purple Can't wait to see it in its full glory! Your phone pics are top notch! Won't be long and you'll be snapping some pics of those babies ripening!

Those pod shots are great, Pr0d! Won't be long until you'll be seeing colors!
I can't wait until my omni starts growing bigger pods. They are so small now,
although one has grown to an inch-and-a-half or so in length.

Here's to a great grow!

I like them when they are inbetween. The heat seemed better when they are younger pods. 3" is a very big pod.

Thanks you for stopping by Paul. The Omni is one of my favorites... Colorful pods, amazing flowers, and neat growth pattern. Last year any visitors I had gravitated towards that plant.

John your plants and pics are superblicious!!!

Please son't stop the bug pics

. I love your amazing high def pics and your pods look perfect. Everyone of your plants are like a work of art!

I second Romy6 in saying, keep the bug pics coming! Everything looks great. You seem to be well ahead in your grow which isn't surprising considering the monsters you made before plant out!

What has your experience been with production through the summer months? Do your plants go back to full veg when the heat kicks in?

The plants could be a lot further but I neglected them a bit. The weather has been crap around here, 60s for highs and no sun. In my opinion when them temps become stable they will start growing. This up and down stuff isn't working. I also think if a plant is getting what it needs it will veg and fruit simultaneously. The plant is trying to reproduce and make seed before it dies. I am far from a pro so these are just opinions. I saw some flowers drop when it got hot here last summer. I am chalking that up to them needing food.We never get crazy temps for too long but you know as well as I do that our humidity gets very high. Rarely do we get over 90. It will be interesting to see.

Yea the last 2 days were bad, cold and crappy with overcast. Today is nice, if the weather would be like this, maybe just a touch hotter it would be nice. I know over memorial day when I was away some of my plants had 6 inches of growth!
