Quad's "new" computer

I loved to play Centipede with a tracker ball! If I ever get my hands on a used or at least cheapo one I'll probably play it again for hours and hours and.... and I'm not a gamer. The old games are still the most fun for me!

ooo centipede the memory's the lost hours..the strained wrist :(

Ha, yep, I remmeber p0wn'n on Q2 because I had a Logitech Marble..those things had insane speed. Crank the sensitivity and accelaration and ...w00t! Literally finger-tip control.

You could jump up while running, spin a 360 and fire b4 hitting the ground...peeps didn't know what hit them.

I still have it but one of the buttons has a bad microswitch. or I'd still use it.

Hey RB, I hava a cheap ($8.00 usd on ebay) Logitech wireless mouse, and only use NiMH recharables in it. It lasts for months before a recharge with 2500-2800mAh batts. And yes, most mice differ in their DPI and tracking speeds.

IDK if your mouse has it's own software or not, but ya can go to Start Menu >> Settings >> Control Panel >> Mouse >> Pointer Options to adjust the speed. There's usually Acceleration & Speed.

I usually have acceleration set to low and speed set to medium on this mouse. Older mice had lower DPI/Tracking and needed higher speeds for me.
Hope thats useful. :)

Thanks QS, I have a super-duper speedy mouse now.

You let someone keep your hard drive? Or the computer you bought for 30 bucks didnt have a hard drive?

The latter. It's no problem though as I have one in it already now and XPpro SP3 is running nicely. :)
