Six months have done the Bhut stout well ...

Here's a picture that best describes the current state of this malt-monster ...

Site-search hates me ... doesn't like 3x letter words, and also doesn't search for hyphenated words ... and that one bites me in the ass all the f**king time ...
 
Can't ever find my tri-tip cook, and I can't pull up my Red-Eye, either ...
 
So, I spent twenty minutes of my life digging up any and all posts (the one's with pictures, anyways) from that batch ...

Nah ... not right now ...

Enhanced batches of Red-Eye, Miyagi, and/or the Bhut are coming up ...

2nd passes of the beers I fully liked, plus a New England style IPA ...
 
Reading Bhut stout's grain bill just made me LOL in the quiet of the night ...

< 30% base malt, lol ...

I think that was my first DIY recipe, and it's def an epic WTF!

Gotta love when you get smashed and just trail off while posting ...
 
Had to crack open a 2nd bottle of CCB Puppy Breath Porter last night ... fucking delicious ...
 
Just cleared the space where the brew kettle sits in the kitchen ... pretty sure it's going down tomorrow ...

Ahhh how I've missed the Beersmith overnighter ;) :cheers:
I've made a giant Hunahpu-inspired stout recipe, drunk, in the silence and pitch black of the night tonight ...
 
It's 8x pounds-grain/bottled-gallon and I'm pretty fucking happy with it ...
