RocketMan 2014 - Resurrection

Wow, first growing season in the new house and I'm totally stoked for this one. Lots of prep work still to be done but there's plenty of time to get it done before plant out. So, here is a pic of where Pepper Row will be going in:

I'll be coming out about another 18 to 24 inches from the fence. The brick line will move out to the new edge and the Ivey will be kept cut back to wher it is now so the fence doesn't show through, she who must be obeyed has made it known that she doesn't want to see it :)

I'm still working on the list and as these will probably be in for a while I'm actually thinking about rather a short list using the peppers I use most often in sauces but can't get locally like Fataliis and planting 3 or 4 of each.

The other, non-pepper stuff will be growing in the big bed at the end of the row. We'll be putting in raised beds there but first I have to remove this bast@rd:

Nice score! They look in great shape too.  You should see what the normal hab or any real hot pepper looks like by the time it hits the shelves in Michigan.

Also, I got the package the other day and am loving the sauces you sent - thank you!  That flaming pumpkin went well on tacos, but you weren't messing around with the heat on that one!

Looks good Bill. Can't wait for the pics of the garden. You aren't messing around with all those raised beds. Are those all for hot peppers or are you growing other stuff too?

Hey Jeff, the raised container are for the vegetable garden The peppers will run along the fence line from where the garden starts up to the fence. somewhere between 60 and 80 feet if i remember correctly.

Jeff, here's how it's going to look.

Pepper Row will run right up that fence line.

MaxC we're running it through Beta Testi g right now. As soon as the bugs are all worked out it'll be available.

Anyone want to see some screenshots of it? If I get 15 Hell Yeahs I'll show y'all what it looks like and can do.

On your mark, get set, GO!!

Ha! You did very well with my handwriting! Only two corrections....SB7J (Scotch Bonnet X Jonah 7 Pot) and Numex Centennial a Chile Pepper Institute ornamental. You can find info on here about the UBSC (Unknown Brain Strain Cross) which was originally grown by Brandon (BigCedar).

Good luck and have fun brother!

Day 3 and no hooks yet. It's a bit on the cool side in the room so that may be the culprit. I have some peppers to start drying so I might just fire up the dehydrator tonight and let it warm the room up a bit while it drying.

Pics tonight if anything is hooking, yeah I know that just doesn't sound quite right ;)

Cheers

OH, hope y'all are getting ready for it, Pi Day is coming up, huh, what's Pi Day?

EDIT: I'll be making Sour Cream Raisin Pie for the office celebration. Might even slip a little Fatalii Powder in there ;)

I was using that damn number way too much for a guy my age yesterday! Having to figure weight of cylinder walls and bases....volume of them and weight of contents. Weight of plate steel discs. Ughhh....truly would've been lost without Pi though.

And for the latest on what's going on in the RocketMan Skunk Works check this out :)

Celebrate the day Braugh, I bet  you could whip up a mean Apple Charapita Pie!

Just remember Pi R2  Pie RRound

Yes Sir, those are golden raisins in there :) The Jamaica Me Hot is a really great sauce. When you smell it all the fruits come through and your thinking this is going to be a sweet, spicy sauce but it tricks you :) The flavors of the fruits are still there and you can pick them out, but they're not sweet.

I can't wait to make this sauce using the MOA Scotch Bonnets!
