RocketMan's 2013 Glog; In The House!!

There are no gardening mistakes, only experiments." -- Janet Kilburn Phillips

I love that quote and it will try my best to remember it through this new grow. So, I'm going with only 18 varities this year as we're looking at moving to a larger house if not buying this summer and I really don't want to have to try and haul a ton of plants when we do. the ones I've selected are:

2. Aji Lemon------------------------------- romy6
3. Chili De Arbol Negro------------------ smokemaster via SocalChilihead
4. Datil-------------------------------------- Pic 1
5. Fatalii------------------------------------ Pic 1
6. Gochu----------------------------------- Stickman
7. Red Savania--------------------------- Pic 1
8. Chocolate Habanero----------------- Pic 1

10. Jalabanero---------------------------- SocalChilihead
11. Jalapeno------------------------------- frydad4

Alot of them are ones i started last year that never grew beyond a certain point and I'm pretty sure that a lot of it was my new grower mistakes. Since I really want to try them I'm giving them a grow again. Once again, thanks to everyone that helped me getting started with gifts of seeds and to all on here thanks for leaving your incredable words of wisdom that we can all learn from.

Cheers to a bountiful grow this year.

Lookin great Bill, and hats off to Shane for sniper eyes!  AND....I MAY know where to acquire some c4, however, with what just came out in the news recently I am sure that the government is monitoring BOTH our computers now....

And loving the Pepper Row, but we both know that it starts with a row and ends as an entire yard full.  Just look at the green and replace it with plants.  We will just stanby and watch!

Heck everybody knows senior NCOs have eyes in the back of their heads... at least they'd better act like they believe it! Lol!

It looks like a great space for planting peppers in the new place Bill, we'll all be interested to see how your babies do along the fence. Good luck!

Those hornworms are nasty.............why can't they just eat the weeds ?
Sounds good with the home inspection...nothing major is a good thing.
They still have to find something ...whether the bank, seller or buyer wants to here it.
Good luck on the new digs...

Well after the conversation we had in Matts Glog I was looking for and found this video, my unit is represented in it but you really can't tell who is who in it, So, if my kids ever ask, "What did you do the war daddy or if the Zombie Apocalypse hits, here's my answer.

Very cool footage Bill, especially like the early morning or in da dark shots.

So I called Bill a few weeks ago when I had a hornworm problem and he shot a missile down from O-Ville …. You killed dem hornworms with one shot, no plants and house gone poof too, hahhaha

9 comments, that'll teach me to neglect my glog :)

That pool has my kids names all over it. And the golf course has mine  ;)

Unfortunately the Golf Course is currently closed. It was just purchased though so hopefully it'll be repaired and improved and reopened soon

Just saw the video you posted of the new house....very nice!

Thanks

Well we are now out of the old house so we're half way there. It's funny how a landlord can be so great and helpful while your living there and then try to keep as much of your deposit as they can when you leave. Nit picky little things and it's $200 this and $400 that. Just glad to be shut of him. Now on to Pepper Row. The plants did not like moving, they're currently at my mom's house where I'm staying till we're in the new house. I'll get some picks as soon as they've recovered a bit but they were looking pretty sad when I put them out last night.

Have a great week

S'right brother... There could have been battalions of hornworms in that 600 meters, and if you're gonna use arty to clear it, something's gonna get busted... It don't mean nothin' so drive on!

That's too bad. I don't think (s)he could get away with that in this state. I think it has to be beyond normal wear and tear. Sounds like you are well shut of your old situation.

I have every confidence that when you put them in the ground at your new place and give them sunlight and water, they'll perk right up. In the meantime... have you thought of giving them a bit to eat? A little shot of molasses when you water them again might help. Cheers bro'!
