So i was gonna cont. my thread from last year but decided I better stay with the norm. I am not allowed to grow indoors( thanks to my better half) so I will not start anything new til late February and they will be germinated outside. Until then I have a nice amounts of plants I will be overwintering. They are as folllows.
2 Brain strain ( wayright )
2 chocolate bhut's( wayright)
4 yellow cardi scorps( wayright)
2 red 7's (THSC)
2 yellow 7's ( judy)
2 hybrid bhut's(redwoodcityseeds)
1 red bhut(CPI)
1 7 pot barrackpore ( roper2008)
1 red savina
1 douglah hybrid(wayright)
1 chocolate habanero( lisa/ gardens 2 grow)
1 african tunisian(gardens 2 grow)

and a couple mystery plants

Here is a pic of some of them as I was bringing them in the Garage. My son JJ was a huge help. This is the latest i have ever had to bring them in .( I say that like I have been growing peppers forever) But last year I had to bring my plants in several times before the new year. :halo:

And my first hybrid bhut with some peas my boy grew. I say that bhut was :hot:

I have eaten the yellow 7 x choco bhut. Very nice color, and milder heat than the typical supers. I didn't see a lot of yellow 7 in it to be honest. I got some pods from Chris that he labeled an F5.

Dave, I will let you know how I Iike the yellow 7x choc bhut. Looks extra spikey and tasty. Tonight it is my first home grown Douglah  I did not have any luck with my choc scorps. Made the mistake of putting both of my plants in the ground at the heat of summer and just got bashed by heat and bugs .

Doc, love the Charlie Brown analogy. Maybe I will hang a ormanament on it.

Brother John. I think my seeds were marked F3. I will need to take another look. Could have been the same as yours. Hope the weather is treating you kindly.

Yesterday I came home to a sweet suprise from Brandon ( Bigcedar). All of the pods were labled nicely and in perfect shape. Ate one of the not red bhut's gone yellow with my meal. It was like a aji lemon on steroids. Habanero heat with aji flavor. Loved it.

My not Butch T all Halloween colored. Just in time for the tricker treaters.

IMG_4031.jpg

And my 3 favorites as of today. Douglah, yellow 7 x choc bhut, and Not Butch T pumkin style

IMG_4032.jpg

Thanks Jeff. Not gonna get anymore big harvest like that for a bit. Just lots of small hot harvest which is fine by me.

Dave, I carved the Orange pumkin pepper last night . It was super tatsy and very very hot.Mouth and lips burned for about twenty minutes. Slow creep like a typical super. But very citrus taste with a medium chinese flavor ending. Seeds saved for this one for sho:)

IMG_4051.jpg

Also got a kick butt package from Vincent cohheed196 last night. It is his sinsister strawberry sauce. If it is anythinmg like his other sauces I will be in hog heavan .

So Tuesday night the wife and I ate are first home grown douglah. Sliced it up and watched the oils and placenta glare at me like I was a fool. There is no doubt it is all Douglah. Took a small piece out of the placenta and chewed it up. First minute or so I said this isn't gonna be that bad. But then the needles began to stick in my throat and my mouth began to burn bad. Almost had me crying. Had to chop the rest up and mix in with some olive oil and veggies to make it edible. It still kicked are asses but was a great endorphine rush with the meal.

Glazed the chops with some of tmudders tasty holy yaki sauce and it was a meal fit for a King:)

IMG_4042.jpg

But the kings thrown sure did burn the next morning :liar:

See! Perfect example of why I put myself on glog-detox therapy. Everytime I stop by someones glog I see something new and exciting that I wanna trade my kidney for to grow next year! I should have known better than to stop by this neck of the woods! Damnit Jamie! lol.

The Devil on my shoulder: "Ohhh look at that NOT Butch T.. Pretty ain't she?.. All bumpy.. wrinkly.. and flouresant orange.. Betcha you'd like to grow that next year wouldn't you?"

The Angel on the other: "NO!! Baaaad Dog! Get in your kennel!"

Everything looks great as always buddy! Everytime I show up here I leave freaking starving. My God that food looks mouth watering good! That Not butch T is one cool looking pod b, nice Halloween special for sure :) Good to see you still harveting some fire.

Glad you like the pods brother!
Brandon

That is awesome meal right there with tmudders sauce great combo. The three pods look wicked and sound like they gave you a good ride. Hopefully your in grounds start flowering for you soon and cooperate.

Thanks Brandon. Your pumpkin pepper seeds are drying as we speak. Might want to get a bigger garage with your bad habbit ;)

Fernandooooooooo! What up. Thanks for stopping in. The ingrounds are gonna struggle now til about March. Then hopefully they will kick back in hight gear :fireball:

So tonight I tackled the yellow 7 X chocolate bhut. This is one great pepper. I can see why Dave is gonna grow a crap load of these. Has almost a sweet smell when you cut it open. Plenty of heat to go along with it. 25 minute later my lips are still a little tingly. I think it tastes very much like my chocolatee bhuts just not a musky or earthy after tatse. A vey clean fruity yellow 7 after taste. Glad to grow and keep in my garden.

Awesome...hey by the way ...woozies have arrived at the homefront ;)...you know what that means........

On another note , between sub runs last night I tallied my MUCH REDUCED grow list for this year........48.....oh Damnit -I really meant to scale down some.I will have to
parse the list slightly. I am sooo fulla shit there

and I just realized that doesn't count seeds from Bonnie, and they aren't getting cut.

...and damnit ,now I'm hungry!

Jamie, just looking at that Douglah is making me quake with fear! Dave sent me some of his, along with several other weapons-grade chiles that reduced me to a sobbing, pathetic shadow of my true self! Dude can grow!

The dinnah looks killah! Right now my stomach is glowing from one of your Yellow 7s with my morning grits, but that photo still makes me hungry!

Nagabrain pix very soon!

Gary

Thak you Trippa, Gary ,Shane , and Bodeen. I just spent about twenty minutes replying to each of you only to see it deleted when I posted. Thak you again for the kind words.

I did manage to eat a Morado pepper last night with some of coheed's sinister strawberry hot sauce. Both were amazing and once again i had a detailed description of both but don't have the patience to describe how good they are again. Here is a few pics. They speak louder than words anyway.

IMG_4054.jpg

And had some of tmudders tasty rainbow relish with a childog today. Realy good shit

IMG_4055.jpg

And last a small harvest from earlier. Have a great week all

IMG_4056.jpg

I must say you have some pleasantly evil looking Douglahs down there Jamie. We have been getting a few 27° nights here. I think this Saturday I will be doing a undercover harvest. Might have to send you a cold weather Douglah to compare to the Floridian Dougies.

Okay got some time to reply to all you kind folks.

Bodeen, thanks for checking out my grow. I hear ya on the chocolates. I am mighty fond of them as well :fireball:

Shane my man! Newbies are struggling with the lack of sun but surviving. Hopefully by March they will be ready to go off

Dave , Always a pleasure to have the slinga around. I can taste the xxx chocolate love sauce already :drooling:
I feel ya on the grow list too. I keep telling the wife I will not start any more varieties for a while then one of you guys send me some kick ass cross that I have to try and grow

Trippa. Nice to have a chili head from the Gold Coast stop bye. From the sound of your grow are growing conditions are very similiar. Love your grow and can't wait to see how it pans out this year

Gary the grow master. That Douglah had me crying all the way to my momma :mouthonfire: Just like every other Douglah I have had. Man yellow 7 with some grits. That is my kinda country cooking.

Billster, I have a few Douglah's with your name on it. I can taste the sauces you could whip up with them:)

Brian, I would gladly trade you a Florida Douglah for a Pennsylvania Douglah. As long as you throw in some of your tatsy hot sauce

always nice to see pepper porn on this glog....i agree as that douglah does look wicked.... vince's sauces are from what i hear burn at both ends and i cant wait...

both you and i seem to struggle with this fantasy football thing....lets fight on to see who will be dead last... glad to see you are still harvesting as we all knew you would be.. here in socal we had a couple days of 90+ still but now we are dropping to mid 60s in the days and mid 40s in the nights... i dont recall it being this cold before this time of year.. then again its SoCal... hows the reapers doing.....

keep burning..

Denniz my man. Nice to hear from ya. If you are lucky enough to get some of Vincent's sauce you will be hooked for life. He claims he is new at the sauce thing but I know better. He must be playing us :liar:

Well the one lone reaper that was growing got over dampened . The sun dissapered for like a week( Thank Sandy) and my starter peat does not like it. All the leaves fell off except one. I moved it to my compost mix and set it out with the big boys. But it does not look good

As for FF i would agree. You and I are sucking up the league. It all started with the first game and our tie ;) . I just hope we can pull off a miracle and not be tied for last place  Let the other guys get a bunch of hurt players and suck it up :fireball:
