RYMERPT 2015 "BUCKET LIST" grow log

This ladies and gentlemen will be my second year growing peppers. A big shoutout to my friends that have helped me on this journey. Mike, Jojo, Rocketman, Spork, Hogleg, Sicman, SORRY IF I FORGET TO MENTION YOU. These folks and the entire THP community has made me what I am in the pepper world. I have grown 20+ plants on a small appartment balcony and had decent success. My list for 2015 is still up in the air right now, but soon to be. Trying to talk the wife into letting me start the seeds inside before Christmas.

Gonna try to get seeds planted soon.

This year I'm going as big as I can with the pots. My best luck was five gal bucket for my ghost.

Oh yea, get this:

My son and I took some things to the house. We are pulling away and I see that we left a light on. Send son to go turn it off. He has trouble unlocking the door. Nieghbor from across the street comes barreling over yelling "hey, what the fuck you think your doing"? He thought we were breaking in. Told him we just bought the place. That was it he wanting nothing else to do with us. I tried to say hi and thanks for watching out and he turned and said " hey listen I'm not your friend and I don't give a fuck, I wad just watching out for my nieghborhood" .

Musta caught him on a bad night. He did not want to be friendly.

Oh well we stay to ourselves anyway.
 
Congrats on the new place. It's good to see you've managed to keep the plants OK.
I hope even the neighborhood is going to be a bit nicer than your first "contact" suggested... it's always good to have at least one or two friendly neighbors.
 
Wow, that's a little harsh and uninviting. Lol...there's always a few dicks in the bunch, I'm sure he won't bother you and the rest will be less douchy! Glad to see things goin your way ryme.
 
Storage messed up my plant production quite a bit. Many died. I ended up with a hand full of reapers and a hand full of ghosts. Thank god Casper made it.

My grow list when all is said and done is:

CASPER ghost from last year

Tepin X Lemon drop 2 (bucket)

purple cabai burung ungu (bucket)

Brazilian starfish (small pot)

Aji pineapple (bucket)

Peter pepper (bucket)

7) Reapers (two in buckets)

4) ghosts
 
Had to look at these pics to see any growth. I have been feeding 10-10-10 every watering. They do look happier. The bucket reapers are the best growers right now. Our weather has been over 100 for the last week or so. Heat has been stressing them out.
 
Finally traded in our old POS Explorer for another car. Its used too, but in far better shape. Meet Mashiro our new used Escort:
