labels Sam & Oliver Stoke chipotle adobo sauce label critique

Looking for critique and feedback for my 2nd line of sauces being produced very soon... Stoke Chipotle adobo sauce

After crowd sourcing the first 2 names in a contest, I had to settle on Stoke since Smokin' and Ember were both taken... so Stoke it is.

The bottle layout is for a 5oz glass woozy, black top with black shrink band.  The designer and I thought we should keep the same motif and layout design, with Stoke's heat ringing in at a medium level on the heat index.  It will look similar to this, printed on a 3.25 x 5.5" rounded-corner rectangular label in gloss with over-laminate

Thoughts on the design?

Here's Cinder for reference:

Edit: now with less "WTF happened?" on the cinder label

SL is stoking another derail! Now we're on interior residential wiring somehow!!!!!

ROFLMAO!!!

Aw, come on, Boss......you know Kalitarios makes his decision via a very circuitous thought process.

Hey Boss!!!!
LDHS just hijacked the thread!!!!

Don't mind me, I'm just stirring the pot, or stoking the fire.

Feisty Parrot, Why do you like one of the other?  One just sounds better or ???

dude.  Becky is so hot.

edit: stoke is not my favorite of your name ideas.  stoked is better than stoke imo, both of which are not ideal.  When I hear 'stoke' or 'stoked' I'm thinking frat dude who says 'What's up Bra!?' a lot.  Love the label and it's artwork - great idea to keep the common theme.

cinder is cool.  2 syllables.  ember? kindle? smolder? <-- all those evoke a 'smokey chipotle' type vibe to me.  just some thoughts.

Ember was a great choice, but camped on already.  Kindle was up there, but I may reserve that for another product line (I have multiple dry spices and 2 more BBQ coming), Smolder was another that was up there in terms of focus group voting.  What I had to watch out for is 2 products with a similar name.  "Tinder" was one of those, of someone who suggested "Tinder Box".  I would have Cinder and Tinder?  No, the name is too close.

I wanted the names to revolve around a campfire theme (who doesn't love a campfire?) and be simple, yet memorable names of each product line.  Trying to invoke a smoky flavor in the mouth of someone simply browsing bottles was/is a challenge.  Maybe it's where I am out here in Connecticut, but stoke means to pile wood or coal into a fire, to increase the heat, not surfer speak.  If it's too much of a conflict then I will have to consider a new name.

Although I'm no lawyer (waiting on a callback...) I wonder if 'Rolling Ember' can be used if someone else has been using the plain name Ember... *the light bulb flickers*
