Losing leaves like that so early is usually an issue with lighting, temperature, too much or too little water, or something to do with your soil medium. Plants that small should not need extra ferts unless you grew them in rapid rooters or something that has no nutrients in it.

The bat poop will be awesome for compost tea later on!

No nutes added. The store is kinda far so I just got everything at one time for plot preparation for when I plant out. The soil has everything in it your right Shane. Thanks for the heads up

Stephen the leaf drop was definitely the soil. No doubt in my mind

Pia, good luck with the transplanting and I hope your babies make it. Man it was hard to see that video and I would agree with the advice you’ve received as it sounds the best course of action.

Good luck girl! That fish fert has helped mine bounce back for sure but now I am on to needing to kill a bunch of fungal gnats. I am sure you plants will bounce back with some good soil!

Thanks so much Chris. I needed that word of encouragement. It took all damn day but they are all transplanted. I used no nutes. The nutes in the pic are for future use. The store is far so I just picked up everything I needed when I was there. I will probably have to go back later but for the foreseeable future I'm set.

Ramon I know looking at the babies was hard but they would all be dead if it wasn't for the fish ferts so I am grateful for that. I sowed more seeds just in case

Great to hear you got them done...when soil is the issue you may be able to see some color change fairly quickly, but it can take some time for them to crawl out of their funk. Hard to get stunted ones to shift gears back into grow mode, but it'll happen.

Glad you got some good soil! Looks like you still have some funds in the bank too! ;) that's all you bought? Im impressed! Hope the store has everything you will ever need now that you know where its located.
If the seedlings don't green up, the new growth will be green. Just let'em ride now that you have them set.
Take care

Thanks GH. I plan on doing just that. Absolutely nothing. HAAAAAA. I am looking at them constantly as they are in my line of sight and they do look like they are getting greener. I thought it was in my head till Shane said its possible.

I see green YaYYYYYYY. Hopefully it will stay

This one has shock. Plus I didn't bury it low enough cuz this was one of the first I transplanted before Shane's post telling me to cover to 1/2 inch. My bad

I posted cuz I see more green than yellow for now. Woooohoooo

Hey Pia. What kind of light are you using for them things? And do you have a fan blowing on them at all? They looked awfully soggy and yellowing is usually due to overwatering.

Hey Jamison I do have a fan on them and I have T8 with 4 bulbs. The bulbs are 6500 day lights. I had to raise the lights because lots of the leaves were getting sun burned. The soil the were in sucked. I hadn't watered in a while it was the bad soil. That's why I transplanted them into Foxfarm Ocean Forest.

I agree with Denniz...you need to lower the lights to within about 3" or so of the tallest plant...and then go on a vacation. Come back in 3 days...water if they need it then go on another vaca. Quit fussing over them! They are in good soil now...and as long as they are getting enough light they're gonna be fine. BOTTOM WATER THEM! I pour a little at a time into the tray until they quit soaking it up. That way...the plants that are dry will soak up what they need to rehydrate and the ones that are still damp won't so it will prevent (but not eliminate) overwatering. The plants can take the lights down real close with T8's as long as your fan is keeping the heat down. They may get a little tan at first, but they'll adjust and take off. Best advice now is to LEAVE THEM BE! Don't even check on them for a bit!!!

Like Shane said get them lights closer. I keep mine within about 1 1/2'' - 2'' from the tallest plant. Keep that fan blowing too and just let them do their thing now. I used Ocean Forest for my OW's this year and haven't had to feed em once. And only watered em 3 maybe 4 times since October. Ocean Forest is some premium soil IMO. Good luck and grab a drink and chill now!

BTW I got a Fish Pepper seedling and a Lolita seedling now! Yours will be poppin soon!

I HAVEN'T TOUCHED THEM. At all I swear. I said I'm not going to and I haven't. I do look at then because my setup is right near me where I watch TV but I'm not going over near them at all

Your babies seem to be recovering a bit. I hope thy all comeback full force. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger after all. I'm sure they'll be fine in a week or two. Good luck. I'll keep my fingers crossed.
