PM me with this, Ramon, as Pia's glog is gonna reach War and Peace II before end of season and I'll never find it again.

(OH, don't mind us Pia, we're just taking over ya glog, hon! smh. But then, you, Ramon and I were triplets separated at birth. Now that'd be dangerous fam reunion )

Hi, Pia!  Hey, I just checked out your vid on page 29 (You have 31 pages!)
You know, even the 'hammered' plants show lots of new growth.  What doesn't
kill 'em makes 'em stronger.  I wonder if old gallon nursery pots with the bottoms
cut out or something similar might make good windbreaks for them while they
are digging in, and still let some sun and rain in when it happens.  And those
little starts in the flats will take off for you, too, I'm sure.  These tykes are pretty
tough, allright    ;)

Paul you have the best ideas I swear. This week we are dealing with heat and thunderstorms during the day. I gave then a good healthy dose of diluted fish ferts yesterday after work because they are stalled. Don't know how to get them out of their funk.

Good weather works wonders.  They just need a little mild weather.  I know mine didn't
like the heat much in the hot part of the summer last season.

P.S. After my last post I thought that discarded lamp shaded might work for the protection idea.

Love it as we have days of rain and t-storms ahead. Gotta improvise.

Mine always seem to stall out at this stage. Usually for about a month and then something just clicks and they start growing like gang busters. That warm weather( fresh rain water)  and some good ole Mr Sun should perk them up in no time:)
Thanks Jamie. I gave em some fish shit and we have two days of 50 - coming up fingers crossed.

Ohhhh and my husband's friend went fishing and brought back the innards of his catches. I have a big black garbage bag of fresh caught fish discards. Whooowoooooooo. Life is good. So fresh still smells like ocean. Not by tomorrow tho. Ahahahahaahhahaha

Lord, Pia, are you getting rains that hit NE after hammering us? Shit, we just got another 6" down here after deluge on May 6. AND lows tonight 42 with high winds LEAVING just in time NOT to prevent frost if that should be case. I don't blame you for not posting pics of plants that will likely rebound but not there yet. I hope the fish guts work out wonderfully! Plants are tough, or am praying they got cellular muscle: rain, wind, cold. Just send the damned locusts. Geez. Will be thinking of you, hoping for you!!!

Yeah Annie. It's been horrible weather these last couple days. Going to have some cold nights this weekend too. I'm kinda over it. It's supposed to get windy Monday and Tuesday. Thank goodness that most of mine are so low to the ground from me burying them deep that they probably won't be too affected. Thanks Annie. I am keeping my fingers crossed.

"I'm kinda over it" in how I'm thinking now, is followed by a series of obscene language, in my mind, that were I religious, I'd have to send Jimmy "Swagg" ministries a million bucks for prayer to save my condemned soul. And another mill to Vatican. Yeah: I'm WAY over it. Sorry we're sending the mess your way but Ramon sent it to us. (Since we've established triplets separated at birth, blame the male sibling! Whether true or not. :D )
