Ono grinds!

Whats in the sauce?

Homemade Russian dressing
1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons ketchup (heaping)
2-3 tablespoons fine chopped homemade pickles
2 tablespoons red balsamic vinegar
1.5 teaspoon Meyers horseradish
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon Sriracha...probably a tiny bit more actually but not much
1/4 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
Pinch of white sugar

I like the sound of that russian recipe.

Myself, unless I'm baking bread...

I never measure.

I just start tossing stuff into a bowl and taste as I go along.

Most likely though....

I'd end up with about the same as you did.

On another note.

Now I want a reuben.

It's a mustard commercial. He keeps focusing on Gulden's.
i still can't seem to figure out how to get my phone to focus on what i'm actually trying to take a picture of :mope: i've tried tapping the screen first before taking the shot, and it looks great on the phone screen. Then when i click, it focuses on something else :(
Whether i'm trying to take a picture of a pod on a plant, or a sandwich on a plate, i can't seem to get focus on what i want
maybe all my posts should go in DC :mope: the blurry pics are appreciated there :P

Ive never considered kraut and ham....Im not sure why not and now im going to have to try it.

I dont like mustard EXCEPT for the spicy brown types and stone ground. That French bright yellow stuff is crap. :D Jack Daniels Southwest mustard aint half bad but you pay too much for the name.

Think hot dog bro! Surely you've had. (of course talking pork or mixed dog here for this example)

Oh yes, i put kraut or a super basic kimchi on a hotdog all the time. I do tend to avoid hotdogs with pork though. Im hooked on Kosher or Kosher quality all beef hotdogs.

What baffles me is why nobody has ever made a hotdog from corned beef. Seems simple enough to me but ive never been able to find any.

mrs. blues refuses to eat any hot dog that is not a Hebrew National.

And she also puts mayo on her dog.

She's Christopher Walken crazy.

That way.

A corned beef hot dog.

Splooge mustard on it.

Wrap it in kraut.

(put the kraut in a towel and ring it out. wraps better that way.)

Dip in corn dog batter and deep fry.

Your enemies will be crushed.

See them driven before you.

And hear the lamentations of the women.

This is Texas.

I like Applegate Farms. I like their beef but they also have a street cart version of beef/pork in natural lamb casing (snap!).

We have Applegate Farms down here too.

Haven't tried 'em.

On another note...

I would reckon that most Texans are not fussy about their hot dogs.

They buy whats on sale.

And I reckon most ever one else does too.
