food Sandwich of the Month

Open faced is cool and the gang as it is an actual sammich style like a reuben or as is some parts of Texas a patty melt.

As far as I'm concerned GM brought the goods.

The piccy's are outstanding!

However...

The TJ pre-made gets 2 thumbs down and the finger.

'Specially since we all know that you GM gotz the skillz.

Anythang that TJ sells you can make better at home.

Oh and I am out of town on 'bidness in Round Rock, TX until thursday.

JayT will name the SOTM for may.

The reubens and patty melts in TX are open-faced? Now that is weird!

What a boob.

You never seen an open faced reubensky in NYC?

Never seen an open faced patty melt?

Come out of the wikipedia cave and get some sun on your face.

We know how to stack a sandwich here. I suppose in TX they fall over and call them open-faced.

Francesinha? If I don't know how to pronounce it I probably don't know how to make it.

Meatball sandwiches. Could get creative, trying to avoid the norm Italian hero.

Sooooo J?

Eh, we just had the fish SOTM month before last.

We should switch it up. What about like breakfast sandwiches? Egg being the staple ingredient.

Good point on the fish. I rescind my earlier choice (though I love a good crabcake). I know that breakfast sandwiches will be done here, but not on my watch. I HATE unborn chickens. Nope, sorry not this month. How about sausage sandwiches? Make your own, or store bought. Sausage, kielbasa, chorizo, brats, whatever...
