Sandwich of the Month

Hey y'all. A recent discussion with THP about Cuban sandwich's in another thread has inspired me to begin this thread.

What is a sandwich? According to wiki...

I myself shall endeavor to post a Sandwich of the Month for every month. This month I tip my hat to one of my favorite sandwiches, The Cuban.

While I encourage y'all to post up your Cuban for SOTM, for the sake of popularizing the thread, feel free to post your sandwich. Be it BLT, turkey sub, gyro, po'boy, etc.

Some rules.

1 ~ Meet the criteria as linked above according to wiki.

2 ~ True, burgers are sandwiches but as we have other threads devoted to them, we will not include them here in this thread. No burgers.

3 ~ List ingredients and methods of how the sandwich was put together.

4 ~ No matter if it is a classic reuben or tuna salad, include a heat ingredient.

5 ~ Pics are mandatory. Talk is cheap. Show us the money!

6 ~ No tortillas. We have taco threads already, and that also means no stinkin' "wraps".

7 ~ Have fun.

Japanese milk bread

Thick slice n toasted

Smash 80/20 beef with 2Tbs bulgogi marinade.

Bottom bun: patty, tasty cheese slice, grilled onion, butter fried kimchi.

Top bun: smoky Korean Buldak chilli sauce, Kewpie mayo.

Awesome man! I have one alteration for you to try and let me know.
 
Don't double dip the bread in the egg. I made these and I did not like the french toast texture to the outside of the sandwich. I liked it when it tasted more like an egg sandwich on toast. Just lay the bread in don't dip and turn over. But with the pan buttered it gets nice and browned. If you try it please let me know how you like.
 
My dear sweet ma and I.
 
Decided we wanted to do meatball sammiches and salad this sunday.
 
But no.
 
My dear sweet sister who is an RN just found out.
 
That she was exposed to an inlaw that tested positive for kung flu a couple days ago.
 
Yesterday morning she had coffee with ma.
 
Later I went over and cooked shrimp for ma's supper.
 
This afternoon I find out about this scheeit.
 
Now we're locking down.
 
And won't see ma or my sister for 2 weeks.
 
 
Now more than ever.
 
 
I need a meatball sammich.
 
With the hotness.
 
On fresh garlic bread.
 
And melted provolone.
 
Right now!
 
I'm gonna' go kiss my dog and rub her belly.
 
So I calm down.
 
And don't do something stupid and have the cops called on me.
 
 
Anyone got a meatball sammich to post?

i hope all turns out well for you and your family members. today my daughter took my 14 year old granddaughter for a doctor`s appointment. she did a video office visit 2 weeks ago and was diagnosed with a streptococcus infection. she doesn't like strangers poking and prodding her but he must have saw some symptom and sent them to the hospital for a covid test. my daughter told us they had people hold down her arms, legs and held her head still while they took the deep nasal swabs. results in 2 days. i took food over to their house today cause she loves nana`s cooking.  :cheers:

80/20 beef balls.
 
Big splooges of mango hab sauce.
 
A bigass spoon of pizza joint style chile flakes.
