Secret Satan 2018

Just like mine to you! At least you got it the next day.

It's the weekend so I guess it will probably be Monday?   Then again who knows? I followed the transit path and it seems a bit odd. Almost like flying in the Eastern US where you've gotta go through Atlanta, GA to get anywhere.. An eye opener for sure.

Not only has this exercise been fun, filled with intrigue and anticipation, but educational as well  :P

Would love to see the transit path to or from Bob65, Shorerider & Karoo. I'd bet those would be mind blowers...

Perhaps when it's all said and done they might post it.. hint hint.. (excluding the "actual" addresses of recipients of course)

Cheers all !

Yay my secret satan arrived!!  Gift wrapped and everything!  (classy eh?)

Haven't tried Year of the Dog yet, heard it's fantastic.  Haven't ever had Drekker Brewing, LOVE double IPAs.  The maddog reaper puree scares the snot out of me, and will go into large (extra large) batches of chili, etc over the next year (or two!).  The chokecherry jam is a fantastic idea - we've got a nero eronia growing out back and I've only made syrup from the berries to treat coughs and such - can't wait to try it on some roast pork.

And then - could it be - a FRESH rocoto?  In December?  Wow!  That's going into something this week.  :)

The day this arrived was not a pleasant one - lots of drama with family and work - so to get home and open this box was super cool for me.  I'm grateful for this forum and it's awesome members.  Stettoman you rocked this box!!  Thank you so much!!

:)

I'm really glad to know your package arrived safely and intact, Dru! And hope it has a positive effect on the rough week you mentioned.

This is my first internet gift exchange....ever. I have learned a buttload of stuff here, one being that boxing and gift wrap is nice, but takes up a lot of space in a MFRB. I plan to adjust accordingly next Xmas....

Dru, you were so easy to shop for! I stopped in at your profile, but it wasn't necessary at all--Just running through your posts and the Cooking With Fire page it's pretty plain--you're a foodie, loves the bold beer, and have an adventurous streak a mile wide.

If you've never had the chokecherry, there are a few members here who will vouch for it's insanely flavorful characteristics. I got a whole grove of 'em in the back forty. The Rocotos compliment so perfectly I almost want to invest in a commercial kitchen....

Merry Christmas!!

I tried out some of Mike's sauce on left over fajitas, I liked the flavor and lets just say it's very spicy. Spicy enough to last through two fajitas with out adding any more. At one point I thought I felt my pulse in my temples or it could've been my eyes twitching holding back the tears.

You need a drip top on that bottle so you don't hurt yourself!!

Thanks Mike!

Mike brings the heat with very unassuming labels and titles. No devils. No flames. Original Recipe. BAM, lights your ass up. He's a sneaky bastard ain't he? I can tell he's the type of dude that would sneak a reaper in your beer.

Agreed. My first Iron Mike taste was a tablespoon just before leaving the house headed for the gym. I got to the gym with a belly full of water, red eyes and a couple of well wishing dudes asked me if I was "alright?" assuming (for some reason)  I was in "emotional distress." I said I was "ok." I wasn't "ok." Should've stayed home. It wasn't so much a "condiment" as much it was an "experience."  ;)

I later figured it out. Fire can be destructive, but it can also forge steel, cook food, heat the home and perhaps save your life. A tool. To be respected as such. Keep the fire burning bro!
